Emily narrowed her eyes in disappointment.
Seeing that Henry was about to leave the bedroom after putting on his wristwatch, Emily quickly took his arm and said, "I brought you breakfast. Have a try."
As she spoke, she took Henry to the open balcony.
Henry gave her a sidelong glance and strode over to the rattan chair on the balcony.
"We didn't get to have our dinner date together last night, so let's have breakfast together now."
Emily set out the plates of food with a bright smile. "I told Abbie to buy these."
Through Emily's best efforts, the meal lasted a good ten minutes.
She let out a silent sigh of relief when her phone finally vibrated in her pocket. This was the signal that Abbie was back, so she ended the meal and began cleaning up. They went downstairs together.
