Adanna and I were sitting in our hostel waiting for tayo adanna 's boyfriend, when we heard the horn of a car outside. Adanna jumped out to welcome her fiance

Tayo had arrived and he had called to inform us that he is at our hostel.So adanna had to meet him outside our apartment.Tayo had come with his sister bola whom I had always wanted to meet because of the way ada used to speak of her as a beauty goddess.peeping from the window I could see a lady wearing blue crop top and jeans, Tayo's sis standing by the car. She is indeed a beauty to behold,she is fairly brown in complexion with a round face and a little chubby. I stared that I almost forgot that am not done with dressing. Even after we had entered the car I still kept staring at the lady beside me.

When we reached the beach, I decided to call kola my bestie to join us at the beach. Before I could get him to come,ada and tayo were already by the beach side. So I had to go get some chill drinks for everyone,at the drinks shop I heard someone calling me, joyce joyce the voice repeat I looked back to behold my awesome bestie standing behind me. Kola was wearing a blue shirt and a white short,and his favorite black sunshade. Oh lol you are here already, how did you see me? He winked at me and said we should go meet the others. After the fun tayo drove everyone back home.

I never thought kola would tayo not even in my wildest dream die I imagine that but it is true kola and tayo went to the same college. After the plessantries, they started chatting like long lost brothers. It was really fun with tayo sis around, we had a lot of fun and sitesieng.the next day was for exam and I was gisting titi my course mate. Titi and I were just like sisters so there is nothing we do ada and I would surely cap her the entire scenario.

The next day I went home for midterm holiday. My younger brother was the only one who was home and he was very happy to see me. Big sis he said as he jumped up to hug me. What do you bought for me sis?he asked with pouted mouth, and I gave him the plantain chips I had bought at the school mini mart yesterday after lectures. He was very happy and he thanked me. Later on I asked him about everybody at home and how he had been coping with the house chores all by himself, since my immediate sister who was also older than him has also went to a boarding school. I was about to ask about my mum when she came in ,welcome mama Daniel greeted her. I stood up to greet her but she pulled me into a passionate hug. When we disengage, she asked me about my studies and school and she also asked after adanna.Yes my mom knew ada very well and she was the only one after her mom who would call her by her full igbo name. Ada was fine, I replied. Mum prepared my favorite meal fried chicken and chips that night and I ate happily, thanks mum I said after the meal.

It has been a week now since I and kola chat. And this is unlike him,I wanted to call and ask how things are with him but I might look too desperate so I could wait for him to come around. After we left the beach that night he had called and confessed his feelings for me and I didn't answer as I was cutoff guard. I went downstairs to meet mum only to see him "kola "he was wearing a jessie, as I looked up his eyes met mine and my heart almost jumped out of me and I had to look away from his intense gaze that seems to make me feel some butterflies in my stomach. I tried very hard to avoid his gaze but kola being kola would not have any of it,instead he actually stood up awkwardly and walked towards me placing his hands head on my shoulder and as if that was not enough he had to plant a kiss on my cheeks only to see me blush.
