The Astral pack mourns for many days as the deaths of Xavier and Derrick come as a shock to all of them. Annie didn't believe Derrick was dead, as she could feel his existence. As the Elders all gathered around the table to discuss making Grey the next Alpha, Annie stood up and looked at all of them. "I think we are making a mistake by quickly crowning Grey the next Alpha.
