Annie looked back and saw the scared look on her face. She looked back at Zane, and without thinking twice, she asked Helena to follow her. As they walked side by side, Annie noticed that Helena was not herself. She looked at her torn clothes as she wrapped them around herself. "Are you alright?" Annie forced herself to ask
Helena looked at her and said, "I will be fine."
Annie said nothing as they kept walking. "Judging from your look earlier, you don't seem fine. Is Zane bothering you?" Her lips parted, and she stopped to look at Helena's face.
" Zane? Why would you say that?" Helena asked, staring at her face. "I don't know; you tell me." Annie replied.
The two walk again in silence. Helena steals a quick glance at Annie each time they work. She couldn't bring herself to tell Annie
