The drive back to my old home is quiet. Of course, it is. Hemera is still unconscious, and I'm sure it'll stay that way for a long time. It wasn't until I parked the car in my driveway that I realized I actually drove back, clutching the steering wheel tightly. I wince and flex my hands, working out the tightness and aches.
