"This way please....." She said leading him to the elevator. "Her office is on the fifteenth floor, the last office by the right" she politely explained but Myron just scoffed and ignored her. When he got to the fifteenth floor, he gasped! The company is very big with staffs going in and out of offices. He walked briskly to Roseline's office, ignoring the other staffs who tried to restrain him. He knocked "come in" a cool and frank voice with a hint of sultry in it replied. He walked in, when he saw the interior of the office his mouth dropped open. The big swiveling chair was directly opposite the door as soon as you came in. The roof to wall window was so huge, giving an over view of the city from anywhere you are standing. The office was big and cozy with two pairs of sofa and a small center table. Myron was lost admiring the office until a hand tapped him on his shoulder bringing him back to reality. "You must be the person with the information right?" Roseline asked gazing at him intensely. To be honest, she is an epitome of a mature woman. Although she is thirty, she looked like she was in her twenties. Her oval face, long brown hair and peculiar grey eyes were easy to spot her easily in a crowd. Today she was dressed in a mini skirt and red top with high heels, giving a strong air of authority. After assessing her, Myron couldn't help but swallow hard. "Yes I am" he said regaining his composure and replying in a proud voice. "You're highly welcome!" She said enthusiastically "please take a seat and make yourself comfortable" she concluded beaming with smiles which made her more attractive. Seeing her enthusiasm, Myron realized how much tracking Julia was important to them. This made him more pompous as he sat down as crossed his legs proudly. Roseline quickly poured him a drink as sat opposite him. "I assume you have heard the reward for the person with the information, so let's just go straight to the point.........say where she is" she said bringing out a little recorder. Myron grinned "you guys offered just fifty million to find information on such a clever girl like that? How miserly!" Myron said sipping his drink. "How much do you think will be a better price sir?" Roseline asked still smiling. Myron leaned closer putting his ankles on the table and joining his hands together. "You see.....I don't live in the bustling part of the city....... I did something hideous and now am in hiding...... If I bring where exactly Julia is, you must guarantee my freedom in this city, which I know is just a piece of cake for you guys. "Then, I want a hundred million and a good position in this firm. And maybe a night with a beauty like you.......will be enough for me" he said swirling the remaining drink in his cup. Roseline face darkened as he listed his demands, she wanted to scream at him but he was the only person that had come with an information on Julia. So she took a deep breath and patted her chest to keep her temper in check. "Sir don't you think that is a bit too much?" She said putting her ankles on the table and staring intensely at him. "Too much? Let me tell you something..... I am the only one in this city who knows where Julia sleeps at night apart from the hospital she is working which you know you can't capture her at because its dangerous" he smirked looking at Roseline's massive boobs. Roseline noticed his look and grew disgusted "About your freedom, that is not a problem..... A phone call from me will resolve that..., but the rest demands don't you think its absurd?" Roseline said furrowing her brow. "A hundred million is a drop in the bucket for you guys... And about getting me a post in the company? What is hard there? Spending a night with you? I don't see anything absurd" Myron said not pausing a bit. Roseline sighed in frustration. She thought he will jump at the offer of fifty million, but who thought he will be do greedy? She had never seen anyone so tough in her life! "How do you even prove you know the Julia we are looking for?" She said half hoping it will not be the Julia they are looking for. Myron smirked and reached inside his pocket "isn't this her?" He asked handing over Julia's identity card he stole from her last night. Roseline's eyes widened in shock! Meanwhile, Julia came out of the theater looking worn out. As she tiredly headed to her office, she ran into Stella, the messenger of the director of the hospital. "Miss Julia...... Mr Griffin asked me to send for you" she said in a pity voice seeing how weary Julia was. She nodded weakly, Stella turned and hurried away while she trailed lackadaisically behind. "You sent for me sir" she said in a low voice knowing her strict he is. "Yes, Niles called and told me he left the city and won't be back in a while" the director said looking at her from the rim of his glasses. Julia nodded wondering if he just called her to ask her stupid questions. "Answer me young lady!" His sharp voice snapped bringing her back to reality. "Yes sir!" She replied. "We can't find another surgeon in such a short while, so you will have to take Niles place" he said nonchalantly. Julia's tiredness vanished immediately "but I work part time sir, if am now the only neurosurgeon in the hospital, won't that affect me?" She asked in frustration. "No it won't if we don't have surgeries everyday........you have to accept it or stop working at the hospital" he said returning to the work he was doing. Julia stared at him wide eyed but he just ignored her. Suddenly, he stretched his hand "your identify card" he said "let me update is as the only residing neurosurgeon at the general hospital" he said. Julia opened her bag and began to ransack it, but it seemed her card had vanished into thin air. Her heart flew into her mouth, she turned all the contents of her bag on the table but it was no where to be found. After receiving no response from Julia for a while, the director looked up at her "where is what I asked?" He Demanded. "I can't find it.......maybe I forgot it at home" she said in confusion her brows furrowed. "How un serious of you! So assuming it was an officer asking you, you will say you forgot it at home? How more incompetent can you be?" He lashed at her. But she was far from hearing, her head was swirling with thoughts. She felt her head get heavier by the minute.
