I drifted off to sleep with the thoughts of what Dane and Myra might do, what if they want to harm the Alpha? What if they will strike on their Inauguration Day? Why was everyone blinded by their act and for some reason I amost doubted myself. What if I was just hating on them?
I saw myself laying face up in a strange forest, I was frazzled, it was so dark that I couldn’t see anything. The forest was quiet, not even the sound of a hooting by any bird. What was I doing here?
I found two pairs of eyes staring straight at me. They were standing over my head. They started laughing, laughing so hard that their laughter became a thorn in my flesh.
