Bridget’s Point of View “Truly, life could be so unpredictable,” I gulped while soliloquizing. At first, I couldn't believe my eyes—that mum would be so badly deteriorated in just a twinkle of an eye. Just like a sweven, the woman we met in soundness just this morning was all of a sudden a shadow of herself. You'd believe me when I say it was one of the most devastating moments a daughter would pass through seeing her mom, especially one who was everything to her in such a condition. She lay helpless, her body suddenly untouchable. I couldn't stand such a scene. I mean, how do I control the tears gushing out from my eye? It was so uncontrollable that my eyes suddenly became cloudy, and if I'd delayed, maybe I'd also be highly afflicted by her pains. Thus, my reason for opting out was to stay with the enforcer outside. Before, we could mind-link even if her wolf was paralyzed. Yea, that was one of the unique things about us—we could go deeper without others’ imagination. That was the power of the mother-daughter relationship. Remember that mum held magical powers associated with the supernatural? All of a sudden, I tried reaching out through the mind-link. “Mum! Are you there? At this stage, there was no response. I'd decided to try again in case she was busy with others. "Mum! Mum!!” "What's wrong?" I pondered; she wasn't responding, which informed my decision to steal a glance through the window to observe her breath. A sudden thrill overwhelmed my whole being when her breathing pattern suddenly dropped. I knew it wasn't normal. A further glance revealed a clustered, cool, and clammy body, which, by my observation and training, was a bad one there. At that instance, I rushed in like a mad dog, holding onto her hand and making a sudden, loud shout of "Nooooooooo." Inasmuch as we were restricted from holding onto her because of the Wolfsbane poison, I couldn't cooperate but decided to take the challenge; after all, it was my choice. If I should die from the effects of the poison, then that shouldn't be a big deal. In fact, I'll be glad to meet up with her wherever she is. All of a sudden, when all hope was lost and finally concluded on the next phase of action, mum sneezed back to consciousness. “Achoo! Achoooo! I was scared and confused due to some negative imaginations. “Was she about to take her final bow?" I pondered. “Achoo! Achoooo!" Mum sneezed again, and as if she were trying to impress the already hopeless waiters, she sat up with new energy and a smiling countenance, like one who just won a battle and was awarded a trophy. “Bridget,” she called out as she noticed my teary eye. She reached out with her hand to clean up the tears and gave me a warm hug. “I'm fine now, baby. Put yourself together, okay?” She assured me and tried stepping down from the bed, eager to resume her normal routine. “But wait, how about the wolfsbane poison? How are you feeling now?” I further asked. “I said I'm fine, like I'm totally fine.” She reiterated. Sapphire, at this stage, was also watching astoundingly. I noticed how perplexed she was. Of course, how won't she be, as it was on her account that my mum got hurt? She rushed into my mum with an endless hug while sobbing uncontrollably. “Thank goodness you're fine, Aunty. I was so worried and guilt-stricken. What would I have done?” she sobbed. Wait a minute; she was instantly restricted by the pack's doctor, who was informed of the situation and rushed in to ascertain some things for herself. “We'll need to run some tests on you in order to know if you're fully fine and okay to move,” he suggested, and he proceeded to fill out a test form. “I said I'm fine, Dr.; don't worry, the poison is no longer in my system; all's well now. You can trust me on that.” She emphasised. Well, mum was the pack's witch and had absolutely the needed ingredients to fix up. I'm sure she'd handle herself as stated. Aunty Rebecca’s Point of View Yea, I'm finally back home to finish things where I'd stopped. This time around, it was better, healthier, more refined, tactical, and wiser. You'd like to know a bit about what happened, right? I know you do. But the summary of it all was that I was sent back to complete my destiny assignment, and that was the Sapphire girl. Our pack's doctor couldn't even restrict my motion. Bridget and Sapphire ran after me when they observed that I was serious about going and never gave up. Apparently, they'd thought I would succumb to the Doctor's demand, but I'd got much to do, instead of some hell of pins on my skin trying to extract blood like some kind of vampire demons. “So you were dead serious? Bridget questioned “Of course I was. I wasn't joking when I said I'm fine.” She winked and followed suit as we left the pack's hospital for the pack's house, thus; utilizing that opportunity to meet with Alpha Sif. I'd decided not to knock but to intrude in just to scare the hell out of him if, truly, he was available. Thus, I observed him from a distance, pouncing all over his throne. I believe he may have been distorted by the sudden turnout of things that shook his mood badly. But not to worry, I am here now, to complete my task, and I'm gonna put everything in place. We had walked in slowly and gracefully, trying hard not to be acknowledged by Alpha Sif, who was already working about his throne room persistently, thus our resolve to stand behind him, waiting for whenever he would turn to fix his gaze on us. Lastly, as if controlled by a remote, he turned and got hold of our presence. Without uttering any words, though, I could see the uncertainty in his eyes. “Aren't you surprised to see me?" I asked. "Well, I am not actually. Remember that I told you miracles still happens, and I was hoping for one as pertains to you.” He bluffed. “So you really thought you could scare me?” He scoffs. Well, Alpha Sif never gets scared by mortals, so get that into your head. He gulped and laughed sarcastically.
