Pictures: the whole room is full of pictures stuck on the wall with a single chair in between. I enter the room to take a closer look. The room has four walls, the windows have been plastered with pictures too, and I walk closer to the pictures on the windows because they catch my eyes the most.
There is a section that he labeled 2018 and this was in my second year of marriage. This year everything was just horrible, that’s when the real abuse started. After a year of failing to conceive, Dave and his family just constantly mocked me. Whenever I complained to Dad and asked if he could break off the marriage, he refused or just said that I was being dramatic. It was that year that I finally opened up to Tara about everything. It makes me emotional to remember or even think about it.
