After reaching West Virginia, I decided to disappear from Vincent and his sister and booked a hotel.
The peace in the hotel room is everything a pregnant woman could ever want. I ordered all the foods I was craving, and everything has been delivered. The services at his hotel are so good.
I am in bed, stuffed to my stomach, and watching some random TV show.
The ringtone of my phone grabs my attention, and I pick it up. Answering it, I place it on my ear.
“Where are you?”
I sigh, “Somewhere you shouldn’t know.”
“Just tell me where you are, Princess. I want to bond with my baby. My baby needs his father, and when he feels me nearby, he will be happy.” His voice becomes soft and more at ease from the panic I first heard.
