I continued to sit there on the floor with my head down, and a defeated look on my face. This had just been the worst Prom ever. I felt humiliated and hopeless as I thought of how Drakes with his cronies had so easily defeated and mocked me.
This whole fight had only proved that I was weak and not invincible as I thought. Even with the Amulet, I stood no chance against them and their magic!
