Isla's POV I took a step back, wiping at my cheeks before anyone could notice the tears. “I’m going home.” Daphne muttered. Killian’s smile faltered. “What?” She stood from her seat, the legs of the chair scraping against the floor. “You heard me. I said I’m going home.” The laughter that had filled the room earlier vanished. My fingers tightened around my glass as I tried not to look at either of them, but my eyes betrayed me.
