Isla’s POV I was running. The trees blurred around me, shadows twisting in every direction. My legs burned as I pushed through the thick forest, branches clawing at my arms. Behind me, I was chased with growls and pounding paws, Arielle’s wolves. They were closing in on me. I was too weak to run. I stumbled, a sharp stick jerking me backward.
