Chapter 94

1694 Words

Liam's POV The crowd was already restless by the time we got to the courtyard. Whispers rose like the wind, small and sharp, cutting through the quiet as every eye turned toward Killian. He stood tall, shoulders squared, dressed like the Alpha they remembered. No one would guess what he’d become, not from the outside. Isla stayed close, her face calm but her hands twisted behind her back. When Killian started speaking, the noise died on its own. His voice carried across the field, with authority. It wasn’t long, he didn’t need to say much. Just hearing him speak again seemed enough for them. They cheered when he finished, the kind of cheer that comes from hope, not understanding. I moved to his side, guiding him through the crowd, clearing the way until we reached the main building.
