Liam's POV I shut the heavy door of the mansion with a grunt, my gaze sweeping over the empty driveway one last time. No one was there. Letting out a frustrated sigh, I locked the door and leaned against it for a moment. Before I could gather my thoughts, my phone buzzed in my pocket. I pulled it out and saw Stephen’s name flashing on the screen. I answered reluctantly. “You can’t force feelings on her,” he said without preamble, his voice sharp and accusing.
