“It is just beyond these trees…” Lance explained as Avery was led through the woods that separated Mattin into its neighboring towns before they suddenly came to a clearing. At the far left of this clearing wore a rugged mountain, expected jagged; but down its torn center held a waterfall. As her steps moved closer, this waterfall caught on a small jagged section of Earth overflowed and spilled further down into a cave large enough for only a petite physique to fit beyond. “Go on-” Lance motioned to her before she led forward in blind faith; not to the demonic entities that surrounded her, but the overall peace that accompanied the knowledge of what her sacrifice meant.
