After a few minutes of silence, I noticed there was growling coming from the kitchen. I looked up to see Jason shaking with his eyes closed.
"Jason what's wrong?" I asked as I stepped forward.
He backed away and growled at me.
"My mate and I haven't mated yet so your heat is affecting me." He said.
"Heat?" I asked. Then I realized there was going to be a full moon tonight and Gabriella has been too busy with her plan to pay attention.
"No no no, I can't be in heat. Raven isn't ready." I shook my head.
"Felicity I'm sorry but you're gonna have to go into Raven's room for the time being." He growled.
I raced up to Gabriella's room and slammed the door shut. She told me she would be ready before the full moon.
I looked out the window and noticed the sun was setting. I paced the room trying to figure out what to do. Maybe while he is sleeping I could sneak up on him and attack him.
But I'm too weak and just don't have the heart to do it. I continued pacing back and forth in the room trying to think of a plan before full moon but I didn't realize it was already too late.
A intense heat began forming in my lower abdomen. It felt as though someone was lightning me on fire while another person was continuously punching me in the gut. I fell back onto the bed and began clawing at the clothes I was wearing. All my thoughts I was having earlier were flying out of my head and all I thought about was this unbearable heat.
I heard a roar come from down the hallway but ignored it and continued clawing at my clothes. I managed to take off my shirt and pants. Sweat began beading my forehead as I clutched my stomach in pain. I heard another roar but this time it was closer to the room.
I whimpered in pain for Xavier, I just wanted him to be with me, to get rid of this pain and to just accept me.
I heard the door slam open and looked up to see a dark eyed Gabriel staring at me with lust in his eyes.
"No no no stay away from me!!!" I screamed at him as I inched away.
"Your smell is so intoxicating." He growled as he closed the door and advanced toward me. A headache began form in my head as Gabriel came closer. He crawled onto the bed and pulled my legs so I was right under him.
"Don't touch me!" I screamed. I tried punching and kicking but he slapped me and held my hands above my head.
Mature content ahead, if you are uncomfortable with that skip ahead.
He held my hands above my head with one hand and ripped my underwear off with the other. I squirmed and wiggled but the heat was taking all my energy. He began buckling his pants and pulled out his throbbing erection.
I cried out in pain and desperation as I pleaded with him to not do this.
"Please please don't do this, don't do this to me." I cried out.
He wrapped his hand around my mouth and forcefully thrusted forward. I screamed out against his hand as the heat increased from the penetration not being my mate. Every time he thrusted forward my muffled screams began louder.
There was a distant anger rumbling in my chest that didn't feel like my emotions.
FIND HER!!!
Was the last thing I heard in my mind before the heat took over me and I fell into unconsciousness.
I woke up with a pain in my abdomen, pain in my head and sadness in my heart.
Tears rimmed my eyes as I thought of last night, the pain was so overwhelming all I wanted was my mate.
I turned over and noticed a dark haired girl with pale green eyes staring down at me with sympathy.
"Ms. Blackwood are you alright?" She asked me.
She looked so innocent and shy as freckles were sprinkled across her nose.
"You can call me Felicity or Anaïs." I said quietly.
"The Alpha sent me in here to give you clothes." She said as she handed me a pile of folded clothes.
I grabbed the clothes and got off the bed to put them on. As soon as I finished, Jason walked in and wrapped his arms around the girl.
"Felicity, this is Sharon my mate." Jason smiled.
"Nice to meet you." I smiled sadly at Sharon.
"Where is Alpha Gabriel?" I asked.
Sharon looked at me with the biggest smile on her face.
"Felicity you have been sleeping for three days, during those days Raven beat her brother into submission. She will announced the new Alpha at the pack meeting tomorrow."
All of a sudden an excruciating pain filled my neck. I collapsed onto the bed and began screaming my head off. I clutched where area between my neck and shoulder where it hurt the most.
Then I realized why I was experiencing this.
Xavier was marking someone as his Luna.
Chapter Nine
5 months later
A lot has happened over the past few months. It was correct that Raven beat her brother into submission. She decided to not kill him and let the council decide what to do with him. He has been locked in the underground cells, chained against the wall with silver chains and injected with small amounts of wolfsbane everyday. I do believe that Raven didn't kill him because she still loves her brother no matter what.
Since Raven beat him, she was recognized as the new Alpha of the Bloodshed pack. She has been meeting with many different Alphas who were once enemies, trying to sort things out. My hair has been growing back, filling in the bald spots, my scars were healing and I am happier. Raven even brought me into her pack as an official pack member and made me her Beta.
This isn't a happy ending though, bad things do still happen along with good things. Being five months pregnant with Gabriel's child was not the happiest thing in the world. Raven suggested I terminate the pregnancy but it isn't her decision, it's no one’s decision but my own and I decided to keep it.
I still haven't been down to visit Gabriel so he doesn't know about the child. I don't even know if I should tell him.
"Alpha Gabriella did you call for me?" I asked as I wobbled into the office.
Normal humans aren't usually huge during 5 months of their pregnancy but werewolf children tend to go fast so she wolves give birth around 6 or 7 months. Right now I was pretty big.
Raven held her hand up as if telling me to wait. I noticed she was on the phone so I sat down in a chair and waited patiently.
"Yes Alpha...yes as the new Alpha of the pack we wish no harm and only wish for alliances...yes I have the paperwork and will bring it during the meeting...thank you." She hung up the phone and sighed loudly.
"Being an Alpha sucks! Seemed like all Gabriel did was drink, have s*x and beat people. I have all this paperwork to catch up with, make a total count of pack members, warriors and pups, find out how we will finance the pack because Gabriel almost made this pack bankrupt, find out the schooling situation, rebuild buildings it's too much!" She cried out loud.
"It'll be worth it in the end." I giggled.
"It better be because this is stressful." She groaned.
She looked over the desk and laughed.
"You look like you're ready to pop!" She clutched her stomach and laughed.
"Shut up it's not funny!" I scolded.
"Well could you help your Alpha out?!" She suggested.
"I would suggest investing in some small businesses in the city to help with finances. Have a construction crew work on buildings and houses and as far as school isn't there a high school nearby? Have the students go there and as far as the pups they have a wolf school here and then a normal elementary school with humans." I explained.
"And this is why you're my Beta." She smiled sadly.
I gave a small smile. "I understand Rave, you still miss him."
She shook her head and shrugged.
"It's fine it's nothing I can do now. Oh yeah by the way, since I became Alpha all Alphas in this north region are summoned to a meeting, Betas have to come along." She said.
My smile soon turned into a frown. All Alphas in the north region. Xavier was an Alpha in the north region.
"Raven I can't go please don't make me go." I begged.
She looked at me with sympathy and shook her head.
"I'm sorry Felicity but you have to go, even if that means seeing your mate. You don't actually have to go into the conference room that's just for Alphas so you don't have to identify what pack you are from." She suggested.
"I guess that will do, you and Jason are the only people who call me Felicity." I smiled weakly.
"Wait that reminds me, I need you to go find Jason and go with him to the training hall and talk to Davis about male wolves training." She ordered.
"Yes Alpha." I said as I slowly got up and began walking out the door.
I wandered around the pack house, tiring myself until I found Jason in the living room sucking faces with Sharon.
"Pregnant woman coming through!" I shouted as loud as I could.
They both jumped away and glared at me as I giggled.
"I hate to break up this session but I need to steal Jason away to go to the training center." I announced.
Sharon pouted and looked up at me with puppy eyes.
"Just five more minutes." She pleaded.
"It's okay babe, I'll be back." Jason laughed as he kissed her forehead.
We both walked out of the pack house and walked to the training center.
"So how's the pregnancy?" He asked.
"I'm hungry but I keep throwing things up, my feet hurt, my back hurt, I wanna cry sometimes, I'm fat and my babies’ father is a monster so how does that sound?" I snapped.
"Woah don't forget moody." I heard him mutter.
We arrived at the training center and noticed a few male wolves training.
A man in his thirties with light brown hair and dark brown eyes walked over and smiled.
"Beta, Delta how may I help you?" He bowed.
"The Alpha has changed some of the rules of training. Once any she wolf or male wolf have reached the age of sixteen, they will be out in the training yard early in the morning for two hours." I explained.
"Thank you Beta and how is the pregnancy going?" Davis asked.
"Sorry to interrupt but we have elsewhere to be." Jason interrupted.
He just didn't want to hear me snap again.
We began walking back but as I rubbed my stomach, I began thinking about Gabriel. At that meeting they will discuss what will happen to him and he will possibly die. He can't die without knowing what he created.
"Jason can you take me to the underground cells?" I asked nervously.
He stopped walking and looked back at me.
"Felicity are you sure?" He asked cautiously.
"He has to know." I sighed.
Jason nodded and we began walking towards the forest. The trees began getting thicker, blocking out the sunshine. There in the middle of the forest stood a concrete looking shack. Jason pulled out a key and unlocked the door. There the door led to more steps and torch light. I slowly and carefully walked down the steps.
On the outside I was calm and under control but on the inside I was shaking with fear. I didn't know how he would react or if he would hurt us.
