The Snakes

“Well, lets see if this works and maybe that will tell you…” With that Adawulf poured the mixture from the pot and Valkyries head instantly flew back putting her in a complete trance. Adawulf suddenly grabs another chair, and places it next to Valkyrie, He moves quickly to get another bucket of water together for someone else to sit. “Babe I’m sorry, You have to go in…” He looks at Stone, “Me?! Why me?” “Well, I knew that if Nix went alone she would be fine, she is strong enough to handle what's on the other side, but Valk, is a different story all together…” He reasoned with Stone. Stone didn't have much of an option, time was running out, he looked between his siblings that were present and then he sat on the chair Gauging his feet in the bucket full of water and waiting for his lover to add the water from the cauldron. “I love you babe…” Adawulf whispered as he bent down to put the Mixture from the cauldron into the water. Stone responded with a nod, and when the cauldron water hit the bucket water, his head flew back and he was suddenly put into a trance. 

“Valkyrie…” He called out, “Valk…” He said again looking through some fog, “Stone? I didn't know you were going to be here…” She responded then was suddenly in front of Stone. Where they were in this trance-like state, Was a thick mist, surrounded by nothingness. Stone looked down to see that he was floating in thin air, there was no ground, there was nothing, just blackness and fog. “Okay how do we work this Rollercoaster…” Stone asked, Valkyrie smiled and shrugged, Stone looked at her confused, His sister, she looked happy, carefree, Uninterested, in the fact that there was nothing surrounding them. Stone on the other hand, was anxious, ready to get out of this ‘place’ and back into the real world. Suddenly they started moving, their bodies doing it on their own accord, Stone grabbed his sister's hand and they flew through the nothingness and were transported to the school grounds. “Adawulf and the others must have been moving us…” Stone mumbled to himself. In the time that he was with Valkyrie he heard nothing, no thoughts from Valkyrie, and just quietness overall. They had appeared at the dorms. Still having Valkyries hand in his, he ran to where they had hosted their father fathers celebration of life. He put his ear on the door and suddenly it all came to him. What he needed to do. He pulled his sister away and to their mothers teachers quarters. In this time, Valkyrie was in a daze, Like her body was taken over by a child-like presence, acting as though there was no care in the world and dancing around. “Valk, get it together, I'm not here to babysit, and you are not making it easy to work s**t out and figure this out for mom's sake…” He whispered yelled, as they were about to leave the Quarters, with no evidence, nothing to help their mom, Stone was almost willing to give up at this point. Things were coming out inconclusive and he didn't know where to go next to look for evidence. They walked back towards the classroom, and Valkyrie turned to Stone, giggling and putting her finger over her lips in a shushing motion to tell him to keep quiet, like a small child. He looked at her confused but then stopped dead in his tracks, listening to a conversation. That sounded more like an augment, it was coming from around a corner and it was between two people. Stone peaked quickly and saw just who it was. Crowley and Xavier…. He gasped inwardly. He made sure his sister was out of sight, but made sure he heard the conversation loud and clear. 

“Xavier, Why do you want to back out suddenly…” Crowley said angrily,  “We know this is for a good cause, and now that b***h Amethyst will be out of our lives, Dad can successfully take his rightful position of running this academy!” He added, Xavier was hesitant, “I don't like the fact that we will be killing people off the way we are doing at the moment, Callum, now Amethyst…” “This is showing our brothers and our father of how weak you actually are! It's a disgrace!” “I'm not a disgrace Crowley, I just don't feel right about it…” “Oh… I get it… It's all about Valkyrie…” Crowley said in a huff, “I love her man…” Xavier responded, sighing it out almost. “I will be the one to take her as my bride… You know this…” Crowley Argued, “But we are killing her parents off! How do you think she will accept you… Crowley, honestly, I feel she is my twin flame…” Crowley scoffed at Xavier, “Well if she is, it will be unfortunate… Now where is the poison? If you are not going to give it to our brother, to add in then I will do it…” Xavier handed Crowley the small bottle not arguing, but refusing to take part in this little shenanigan. Before Crowley could leave he received a call, answering it in front of his brother. “Dad!” He answered, smirking in his brother's face, “Yes, Yes, I'm on the way to hand the bottle over to our brother…” He said nodding into the phone, “Yes father, But Xavier is being a little b***h…” He said in a response. “Yes, I will tell him. Thank you Father…” He said dropping the call, and looking at Xavier in the face, “Father said you must grow some balls! He said that you need to be present at the Mock Sun! We can not be without you… Show your loyalty and just be there!” He said turning and leaving towards the class rooms.

“Okay I think we got what you came for…” Stone whispered… “Lets go Valk…” He added, trying to grab her hand from behind, but couldn't reach for her. He looked to his back to find his sister was no longer there. 

“Valkyrie, what are you doing here?” He heard Xavier, and turned back to the corner and peaked again, “f**k Valkyrie…” He muttered. She was dancing flowingly around Xavier not answering his Question. Stone took his chance and ran out from the corner, grabbing his sister, “She had too much to drink Xavier… Sorry about this… we have to run…” Stone said to a confused Xavier, He pulled his sister all the way back to the dorms again and was transported immediately back to the nothingness, the misty fog. It wasn't even a second and he Gasped for air, being brought back out to the ‘real’ world, as he likes to call it. He gasped as if he was underwater, but in theory he wasn't, but he felt life inside of him. He looked down to his feet, that were no longer being drenched in water, but was on the floor, dripping. He looked over at Valkyrie, and she looked confused. She looked at his feet.”You were in there with me?” she asked, dazed. He nodded his head, now confused. “I think we know who poisoned Mom…” He looked up, Adawulf ran to him, hugging him and kissing him, as though he hadn't seen him for days. “How long were we gone…” Stone asked, “Maybe less than a minute…” Rowan said, when in fact Stone felt like he was there for more than an hour… He stood up and took a towel off a nearby table, wiping his feet, “Well now that Valkyries v****a water is gone… I would like to tell you all that this was no accident. Mom was really poisoned, and by none other than Crowley and Xavier.” 

So stone started, He told them about the conversation that Crowley and Xavier was having, Missing the piece about Xavier being Valkyries Twin flame, He told them about the father who he suspects is Lysander, That they were to gather at the Mock Sun. All this information shocked Valkyrie… “I wasn't with you…” She blurted… “I was in the dorms, I remember… But I wasn't with you… I walked around the school and saw nothing, no one, it was empty. The academy was empty…” She added, “Oh my word! That could only mean a tri-way projection…” Adawulf blurted in shock… The siblings looked at him confused, “That means, there were three paths that the projections. The first is the Past, where Stone went and saw Crowley and Xavier, the second would be a dormant projection, it’s emptiness. It's basically all the buildings are there but no one is around, then the third would be the future projection...But none of you were there…” He pointed between Stone and Valkyrie. “Wait… Wait… You said you had found Valkyrie in the mist?” He asked Stone, and Stone responded with a nod, “that means part of her subconscious. Was with Stone!” He laughed. They looked at him confused and he put his hand up in the air, for them to continue, with a plan to stop Xavier and Crowley. Rowan looked at his siblings, “What do you think we should do?” He asked. “I think we need the Sacred Six…” Pagan said referring to the sibling that was absent. “What is a Mock Sun?” Demetria asked. “It’s an Eclipse of the sun… Well that's what I think it is…” Adawulf responded, “When is the Eclipse?” Pagan asked, “In three days time…” Adawulf answered, “How long does it last?” Demetria asked, “It last for three hours…” Valkyrie responded, “How would you know that?” Pagan asked, “I said that I didn't see anyone on the other side, doesn't mean I didn't hear anything…” Valkyrie responded, “Okay so when was this piece of information going to be shared?” Rowan asked angrily, “You never asked, Might I just remind all of you that I was hypnotized and still haven't forgiven all of you…” She responded with an attitude, “You have honestly No consideration for anyone Valkyrie, You are so selfish! Stop making this about you! This is to help us and Mom! My I remind you that our mother is in the hospital for Poisoning, Our father died, but obviously not from Cancer! And we are all drifting apart, and things are going to get worse! And here you are coming with your childish Games and ways not to help us! We are your coven! We are the people who have helped you! So Talk! Cause if you don't, I will Hypnotize you to talk!” Demetria spat out finally having enough of her younger sisters bullshit. Stone gives Demetria a slow clap, in appreciation, which was suddenly stopped by a look of ,’not the right time Stone’ by all of his siblings.  “Fine! But just know that It will take along time for me to trust all of you again!” Valkyrie said, causing the siblings to Huff and for Stone to Chuckle. She took a seat on the bed looking at them, “Let's start with the brothers…” She said looking between them, “Who are the brothers?” Pagan asked, “I will get to that…” She said folding her legs, and looking at them, “The brothers are the seven sons of Lysander and Rowena… Evander, Rune, Xavier, Crowley, two others name Silas and Lysander Junior and, well, a shocker, but, Trinity…” She added, looking at Adawulf, “Trinity… So that means shes a…” “Transgender…” Adawulf finished her sentence, “Oh my God I’m so stupid! We don't look anything alike… I knew that she had transitioned a long time ago… I had a feeling we didn't share any blood! But we don't share the same father, and my mother is no longer here to defend whether Trinity was her child. I am so stupid, My dad was fooled, I was fooled!” He cried. Stone just held him, and comforted him. “They plan to kill us all…” Valkyrie Blurted out, “And you were going to keep that information from us?” Demetria asked with Attitude. Valkyrie Shrugged, “I was planning on going home…” Valkyrie said, “and? Let us get killed?” Pagan Gasped, “Well…” Valkyrie said shrugging again, “They plan on doing it on the day of the Mock sun… Phoenix, will be the first to go, because apparently she is their strongest contender... “ “Damn right she is…” Rowan said, “They were to kill mom off then start on Phoenix, then it will go to the next sibling which will be Rowan, then we will all meet our doom…Lysander is alive and well, and they are planning on bringing Rowena back from the dead using Necromancy… With Phoenix, and Mom out of the way we don't stand a chance… So I’m just going to take my s**t and Leave… I suppose…” she said getting ready to get up and pack her things. “Coward!” Demetria says walking towards her bed, “Coward!” Pagan says doing the same. “Coward!” Stone said, hugging Adawulf tighter, “Well, now that's no fair, all of you ganging up on me like you all always do!” Valkyrie exclaimed in a huff, “But that is simply what you are… A coward… The truth hurts doesn't it Valkyrie?” Rowan says in a patronizing voice, “How do you suppose we save each other when we can't even save ourselves? I'm going to wave the white flag now! What do you propose we Do Rowan, seen as all of you think we can actually do this? Am I the only one being realistic, well apart from Phoenix, because where is she?” She responded with even more attitude. “ I say we stay and fight! I say we save this school! I say we stick together, I say we take them on! I say we can with this fight! After all we have all been fighting for you since the beginning of time… Don't worry about Phoenix, she's somewhere in the academy. She will be back! She needs some air, seen as she was fighting for us, and her love was too deep for her twin flame. So either, you stand by us or you get the f**k out of the way, but know, that with getting out of our way, you will pay the price of not being a part of the sacred six any longer! And that Valkyrie, will be on you, if our mother dies, if anything happens to phoenix, I will turn this around and I will come for you…Now if you will excuse me… I would like to go find Phoenix, and help her, before we start with a plan, to fight this battle…” Rowan said and with that he turned on his heels, making his way to the door, “Think Wisely Valkyrie… This isn't a threat… It's a promise, to a coward!”
