After a few minutes of walking and traveling, Olivia finally arrived at her school. It looked like a regular school and she could already hear children or teenagers, talking, laughing, and walking. She was only 2 years away until she turned 18 and therefore an adult. She took a deep breath and let it out before finally stepping inside, her head up. When she looked at the students, she noticed that almost everyone was looking at her. They noticed that this new student had wings. A few looked with no expression, a few looked fascinated and others looked dirty. Olivia ignored everyone and unwrapped the sheet of paper Cindy handed to her. Not only was the school address on it, but even her class number, the classroom. Olivia searched for the exact same classroom as hers and she stopped when she noticed that there were also stairs and an elevator, but only older people, disabled or people in wheelchairs are allowed to use them. You can see those familiar icons in blue.
Olivia suddenly felt shy when she knew she had to ask for help getting to her classroom. She noticed a boy around her age walking toward her and the girl prepared to talk. The boy had pitch-black hair and green eyes. He looked handsome. Even though Olivia also thought he was a handsome boy, she did not fall in love easily and was more of a closeted girl who hides her emotions.
The boy smiled at her, which was full of greeting and friendliness. "Hello. Are you new here?"
Olivia nodded. "Mhm."
"My name is James. And you?" The boy extended his hand toward her.
"Olivia," she replied, and shook his hand.
James nodded. "You seem to be lost. Do you have somewhere to go?"
Olivia showed him the paper with the class on it. "Can you take me to this classroom? I am indeed lost."
James looked at the paper with the classroom on it and nodded. "That's one floor up. Follow me."
Olivia walked beside James and they went up the stairs toward the correct classroom together. During this little trip, they talked to each other and James finally said something about her wings. He doesn't seem to find them dirty, he finds them fascinating. Of course, the other toward them, especially since one of them also has wings. But there's nothing Olivia can do about that. What she can do is ignore them and, hopefully, she won't get into trouble-men. Sometimes ignoring doesn't help for some and it can even end badly.
