David put away the last of his books in his new office at Dexington Medical Center and leaned back on his haunches. He’d planned to move his things over the weekend, but the visit with his parents had forced a change in plans.
He’d arrived early Monday morning instead to settle in before the workday started. Luckily he’d only had his reference books, his personal supply of medical equipment, and a big box containing all his research materials to move in. He’d already hung copies of his certificates and state license on the wall. He’d even gone through the on-boarding package his new secretary had left for him, which included his IT credentials.
