The rest of the weekend had been both busy and unsettling for Jasmine. She’d worked hard to keep her mind away from the lump and the arranged date with Tony, focusing instead on prepping for her new rotation. Jasmine had already been assigned her patients over the weekend and had planned to hit the ground running.
She’d arrived early at the inpatient ward to take over from the night float team, had reviewed the new admits, and had written up orders and discharge notes for her team to take care of. Then she’d walked over with her attending to pre-op to say hello to the OR patients for the day, address their questions, and make sure all necessary paperwork had been signed.
