Chapter 21
Jasmine wrung her hands as she sat opposite Dr. Allen, a long-limbed surgeon with wide black brows and a head full of hair, and waited for him to speak. She’d arrived early for her Tuesday afternoon appointment in the hope that she would finish on time to rejoin her team for clinic hours. Dr. Allen had been gracious enough to accommodate her at such short notice.
She’d already met David earlier in the day, and they had talked through the draft of the proposal document they had pulled together. Jasmine had updated the changes live as they discussed and had sent him the revised document once they’d finished.
