KIERAN’S POV ​I stood there for a long moment. My nose was still throbbing where the wood had kissed it. I raised my hand to knock, but I hesitated. My knuckles hovered just inches from the door. ​What was I supposed to say? “I wasn't watching that because I’m a p*****t; I turned on the TV to chase her from the living room.”?
