The entire family was becoming unsettled. Even with the rather cold weather, Sara felt heat rush through her body. Dawn's mother was wailing and fingering as she did not know what to do. Jeremy and Xander roamed aimlessly. They discussed and finally agreed to go in search of them.
“You women can stay back, we will go in search of them” Xander announced.
“No, I would come with you” Sara stood up angrily.
“I will also come with you” Dawn's mother stood up too.
“No, you can’t. If something happens, you cannot protect yourself so please stay back” Xander pleaded.
“Do you mean something will happen to my daughter?” Dawn's mother moved closer to Xander.
“Not at all” Jeremy replied.
