Nadir could not watch Duron die. Now, Nadir had always loved Duron ever since they met a long time ago.
They were so little at that time, right before Duron's mother was brutally killed by his father. Nadir was a few years older than Duron and she was able to help him escape from his father who wanted to kill him.
Nadir helped him make his father believe he was dead as his father got to know that(Duron) would have a form of relationship to come. He knew Duron would somehow bring the Phoenix to existence and as such, and as fate would have it, the Phoenix was destined to kill him for his evil acts and behavior.
He would not let it happen. Duron's mother has to face the consequences too. After all, he was her son.
Out of anger, he had killed Duron's mother for bringing forth such a child
