Davina turned her head as she heard voices, slowly coming back to consciousness.
“Davina, Davina, open your eyes, Davina” she heard a familiar voice call out to her.
“Will she be okay?” Duron asked.
“There is no cause for alarm. She would be fine. Her body could not sustain her and the child as her stomach was empty and..”
“What child? What do you mean?”
“She is pregnant” The doctor announced.
“What did you say?” Duron questioned
“Leave me alone, please take me back to my home” Davina muttered as she refused to open her eyes.
“You are home now, open your eyes Davina, you are safe now” Duron held her to his chest. Slowly, she opened her eyes and was gripped with fear.
