I tried to move, but my body ached, my head throbbed, and a dry taste lingered at the back of my throat.
I pushed Adrian's hand away, my hands pulled up the covers as I check myself frantically, I was in my night wear, I pushed him off the bed with my leg, and sat up, triggering a headache the made me wince, Adrian fell with a thud, a groan slipping out of him.
I held the sheets closer to me as I stared at him with a thousand questions in my head
He looked up at me from the bed, his hands rubbing his eyes
"Why am I here?" I asked
"What do you mean?" He replied, tilting his head in amusement
