“I need to ask you a few details first, and I want you to answer me as truthful as possible if you wish us to clear things out, okay.”
The tone of Leslee’s voice remained calmed but the gravity of her words just punched at his gut like a hard ball. It twist and turn that he wanted to vomit from all of it. Luckily, he had had little food for the last few hours.
“All right.” He nods.
Finally calming a bit, already prepared himself in his head, he readied his thoughts for what was to be asked.
The woman took in a deep breath. When she opened her eyes, she had this serious gaze on him. “Do you still think of yourself as a human?”
Those words came to him like a slap to his face. It struck so fast that he could barely make out anything in his mind.
