Alpha Stefan’s POV
The whole drive home to Moon Eclipse, I struggle to take my eyes off Erin’s sleeping form. Her dreams are troubled, judging by the small v that has formed between her brows. Her tiny frame trembles, and I mind link for my jacket. I could walk to the front of the bus, but they would mean taking my eyes off her.
Once my jacket is brought to me, I gently drape it over her tiny frame. “You love her?” Florence says to me in a whisper.
“She’s my gift from the Moon Goddess. My whole DNA is programmed to love her,” I answer, not even trying to deny it.
“She’s going to need time to recover.”
“She’ll have all the time she needs. I would never hurt her.”
“Good. We may be related, and you may be stronger, but I promise you that I will gut you if you harm her,” she warns me.
