Erin’s POV
I’m vaguely aware of the tight grip this wolf has on my upper arm, as I reluctantly follow his lead while listening to my Mother sob.
“PLEASE!” She screams. “I just got my baby back, you can’t take her again,” she sobs, now on her knees.
“Please, if you have any form of humanity, just let a Mother say goodbye to her daughter and hold her one last time,” I beg him. “It could be the last time she ever gets to hold me,” I may as well be talking to a brick wall.
“Don’t you have children. Wouldn’t you want to hold your pups one last time?” I plead. The moment his footsteps falter, I know I’ve chosen the right words.
“You have five minutes to be at the front door. Otherwise, it’ll be the big guy coming to find you. Please don’t make me regret this, or traumatise your Mother,” h
