There was definitely something fishy. First was the way Lucius looked at the girl. He had never seen that soft look in him before, EVER. Second was the raw protectiveness in his eyes, when he was looking down at her. Trehan needed some more information on this whole situation. He took out his phone and dialed Dmitri.
"Hey, dickhead" he heard Dmitri's voice after the second ring.
"How is it going f**k face?" Trehan said, walking towards his room.
"What do you want?"
"Information"
"On?"
"Lucius"
"What do you mean?"
"What's the deal with him and the hot blond? I haven't seen him this protective over a woman before. It's weird"
"I know exactly what you mean, he says it's nothing, that he is just making sure that Viktor doesn't succeed, but there are definitely feelings there."
"Hmm, I was right then, Lucius has finally met someone he wants."
"Yeah, but he won't admit it, you know him."
"Ah but that's where I come in. I will make him admit it", Trehan said.
"You are going to get staked" Dmitri said with a chuckle.
"But at least I will have fun beforehand. I have got some planning to do. Take care, f**k face" Trehan said, hanging up.
He entered his room and walked over to the bed, undid his robe. He smiled when he saw the beautiful woman in his bed. He shrugged off his silk robe and leaned over to her bare shoulder, making her moan.
"No more Trehan, I can't keep up with your vampire sex." She mumbled sleepily.
Trehan chuckled, he trailed his hand under the covers and over her bare back, down to her bottom, around her thigh, to her sweet spot, making her moan and spread her legs for him. She turned her head towards him and their lips met in a hungry kiss. Trehan removed the cover off of her naked body, never losing contact. She moaned his name as his finger entered her warm core, making him hungry for her. He left her mouth and trailed kisses down her body to her womanhood. He replaced his finger with his tongue, causing her back to arch off the bed. He loved the effect he had on her body. Just when she was about to go over the edge, he stopped, and moved to remove his boxer. When their naked bodies touched again, it sent a hot flash of desire running through them, making them both moan. With one swift thrust he entered her wet warmth, and that sent her over the edge, making her core tighten around him. The feeling made him crazed and Trehan pounded into her, making her moan and gasp with pleasure. He didn't stop his fierce thrusting till she was once again gasping from her orgasm. Her soft moans and her heat caused him to join her in the climax. He held himself up by his elbows so that he wouldn't crush her. Once he caught his breath, he rolled off her and collapsed on the bed, gathering her in his arms as he sighed happily.
"I don't think I would be able to walk after that" she chuckled.
"Then I did my job right" he smiled, drawing small circles on her bare shoulder.
"Oh my god, I totally forgot, Lucius was coming" she said worriedly, and started to get up.
"Relax babe, it's been taken care of, he is in his room resting now."
"Why didn't you wake me and what about the guest he was bringing? They might need something." She said, attempting to get up again, but Lucian tightened his hold on her waist.
"She was already asleep when they came in. She is in the guest room you prepared. I didn't want to wake you not after the session we had earlier", he smiled smugly.
"Wait, she, our guest is a she?"
"Yep, and guess what?!" She arched a brow, waiting for him to continue. "Lucius likes her"
"Like, likes, likes her?!"
"Babe, when you see him with her, it will answer your question, he is very protective of her. There is definitely something going on with him and I am going to make him admit it", Trehan smiled slyly.
"Oh no, no, no, I know that look and it always gets you in trouble. Stay out of it"
"Ava, when have you seen Lucius happy, like really happy or even smile since you have known him?"
"Never" she said slowly.
" Exactly, I am telling you that girl means something to him, and if I am right she might be his bride. For the first time in my life I saw him smile, but you know Lucius. He can be stubborn, he deserves to have someone in his life, don't you think?"
"That's fine and all, but what about this girl does she feel the same way?"
"From what I saw, she was also in the same boat, she was asleep. So I couldn't be sure. That's where you come in."
"What do you want me to do?" Ava asked confusedly.
"Find out if the feelings I saw in Lucius are one-sided or are they mutual-"
"I don't know, what if this all goes wrong and you create a mess out of this."
"When have my plans ever gone wrong?" and Ava gave him a "are you serious" look.
" OK, fine, maybe once or twice, but not all of them, trust me. It will be fine, not to mention fun."
"Rigggght" she said and got off the bed, making her way to the bathroom.
"Where you going?" Lucian asked as he watched her naked figure disappear behind the bathroom door.
"I am going to go and be a good hostess and greet my guests," she yelled back.
" So you gonna help then"
"NO" she yelled back with finality.
The sun was just coming up when Thea woke up to find herself in an unfamiliar room. It was very sophisticatedly decorated, the bed felt like a fluffy cloud. She got out of bed and walked over to the sliding doors which led to the balcony. She opened the door and walked bare foot on the dawn-lit balcony, she hugged herself tightly as the rose-scented morning breeze sent a chill up her spine. She took in her surroundings, she smiled at the beauty of it, the endless gardens, the fountain in the middle of them, everything was like a dream and breath taking. The castle looked mystical in the dawn's light, its huge towers and white tiles gave it an ethereal feel. She felt relaxed as she watched the sunrise, with a soft smile on her face. When she felt someone watching her. She looked for the source of her feelings and found Lucius watching her through the window to the left of her.
Lucius had been staring out of his window, deep in thought about the strange feeling brewing in him. He felt lost, he wanted Thea, that was for sure . But why? Granted, she was a natural beauty, but then he had seen many beautiful women before, but they never made Lucius want to live. He never felt jealous of anyone but now, just thinking of her being with anyone else besides him, sent an urge to kill so strong that it scared him. He has been alone for so long that now, the mere thought of being with someone gives him hope, and it was all because of Thea. As if on cue, the object of his torment walked out onto the balcony. Her hair was a mess, there were bruises on her face and neck, and yet he couldn't seem to look away. He saw her smile, and that contagious smile formed on his face also. She was looking around the gardens and finally her gaze landed on him. Her amber eyes lit up when she saw him, pure joy knocked into Lucius, but it was short-lived as he watched the light slowly fading from those eyes. Her head jerked away from him, and with one last look she disappeared into her room, leaving him empty again.
A knock at her door took Thea out of the trance she felt when she saw Lucius. Finally, she shook herself and went to answer the door. There was a stunningly beautiful woman standing at the entrance with a warm smile on her face.
"Good morning, I hope I didn't wake you" she said sweetly.
"Oh no, I was a wake, just watching the sunrise" Thea said shyly.
"Oh good, my name is Ava," she said, extending her hand towards her.
"Thea," she said, shaking her hand gently.
"Well Thea, first thing is first, breakfast, I don't know about you but I am starving." The mention of breakfast made Thea's stomach growl. She looked at Ava with embarrassment.
"That answered that question" Ava said, smiling.
"Why don't you freshen up and go to the kitchen? We will see what we can muster up, OK"
"Sounds good," Thea said eagerly.
"Great, the kitchen is straight down the hall to your left" Ava instructed.
"OK cool, I will see in a bit" she said, smiling and closing the door behind Ava.
Thea turned and scanned the room for her bag. Finding it in the corner, she sighed with relief, digging around and grabbed her toiletries, a fresh pair of underwear, tank top and black Capri pants. After a quick shower, she left the room in search for the kitchen. Like Ava said, the kitchen was pretty easy to find, her mouth watered as she smelled the eggs and sausage.
"Hey you made it," Ava looked up at her smiling.
"There is a fresh pot of coffee over there and freshly squeezed orange juice in the pitcher over here. Take your pick"
"Thanks," Thea made herself a cup of coffee.
"Hey, could grab me some bacon from the fridge" Ava asked over her shoulder.
"Sure" Thea got the bacon and handed it to Ava, starting to feel comfortable with Ava.
"How many?" Ava asked, holding up the bacon.
"One is fine thanks, not a big fan of bacon"
"What, girl, you must be crazy" Ava acted shocked making her smile.
"Pshhh, more for me." She said with a shrug.
The toaster dinged, "I got it," Thea said, grabbing a plate from the counter. Placing two nicely browned toasts for herself and two for Ava.
"Let's eat" Ava said, setting a plate in front of her. They both sat down on the island stools and began to eat.
"So you tell me something about yourself" she asked, taking a bit of bacon.
" There is nothing much to tell. I grew up in foster care, and have been an ICU and ER nurse for about two years now, and had a pretty normal life up till two days ago." She answered, sipping her coffee.
"So you only found out that all the stories of the boogie man are true, two days ago. Wow, it must be overwhelming to learn so much in just two days."
"Yeah, it is, it's confusing and scary," Thea admitted.
"I know how it is, my stepfather was a drunk and an abusive asshole and my mom, well, she was not all there," Ava explained, eating her toast.
"As soon as I turned eighteen, I ran, but my stepfather found me, he had a temper and he had a hard time controlling it when he was drunk," she continued, taking a sip of her orange juice.
"Let's just say if Trehan hadn't come when he did, I wouldn't be sitting here, talking your head off" she said jokingly.
"I am sorry to hear that," Thea said sympathetically.
"Nah, it's all in the past, I don't let my past control my future, life is too short for that" Ava shrugged, making Thea envious of her attitude.
"So you are human?" Thea asked.
"Yes and no, I am a Halfling" she answered.
"Half human, half water Nymph, from my father's side, that's what attracted Trehan to me" Ava explained at Thea's confused look.
No wonder she was so beautiful. Folk lore always described the nymphs as beautiful creatures, who knew they would one day be sitting having breakfast with one.
"Since I didn't know what I was, Trehan bought me the old hag, which is how I found out what I was."
"Old hag? Do we not like this woman" Thea asked curiously.
"What, why wouldn't we like her? She is crazy good at figuring out things."
"But you just called her an old hag, isn't it what you call someone you don't like?"
" Oh, oh no, no, that's her name, old hag. Well, not her actual name. She is so old that everyone in lore calls her the old hag." Ava explained, laughing.
"Do you think she will be able to help me?" Thea asked hopefully.
"Sweetie, if she can't, I don't know who can" Ava said, smiling reassuringly.
