Thea sat up straighter trying to get her baring, but her head felt heavy. She could hear Lucius's distant and panicked voice, her eyes felt heavy and gritty. " Thea, are you OK?" she heard Lucius's soft voice next to her. " I am OK, just my head." she replied, holding her head to steady the sudden lightheadness, her eyes still refusing to open. " Here this should help. Your body is in shock by the sudden release of your magic magic, maybe I should have released it slowly, hmmm" Sienna said, holding the cup of tea towards Lucius with a thoughtful look on her face. He took the cup with a glare, he felt betrayed and deceived by his long-time friend. She should have told him about Thea, about Victor's plans. It would have saved many lives and him a lot of time. "Take a sip, dragoste". He put the cup to Thea's lips. Gingerly she supported the cup to her lips, sipping the warm liquid. Somewhere in the small apartment, a timer started to beep. " Oh, the chicken is done" Sienna said cheerfully, literally giggling like a child as she left the room. Lucius was focused on Thea, who was clenching her teeth in pain. Her every hiss sent a new wave of anger through him, wanting to strangle Sienna every time. " How can I help?" he asked her, softly stroking her brow, as if it would make the painful frown disappear. " My head feels like it is going to explode" she whimpered. Lucis angrily turned to Sienna in the kitchen. " Give her the tea." she replied before he could ask her to give her something for the pain or to undo what she had done to her. Grabbing the cup again, he helped her sip the tea. "A little rest should take care..." Sienna stopped mid sentence, Lucius looked up at her angrily and saw a blank expression across her face. " Right on time. Oh Lucius, be a dear and help me set the table. Our guests are here," she said happily. " I am not leaving her," he gritted out. " Oh would you stop your fussing? She is fine, the effect of the tea should be kicking in right about ...now." As if she had said the magic words, the pressure and the humming in her head stopped abruptly. Thea slowly blinked the remaining grittingness out of her eyes and sat up. Sienna's small apartment came into sight. Her gaze finally landed on the mesmerized Lucius. He looked at her like she had grown a head. "why are you looking at me like that?" she asked, touching the side of her neck to make sure there wasn't another head actually growing there. " frumoasa" Lucius mubbled. "What, what's wrong with me?" Panick set in as she touched her face, trying to find what was wrong. " Nothing, nothing at all, just your eyes... they are beautiful." " What's wrong with my eyes?" She asked as she rushed over the small mirror that hung near the fireplace. Thea gasped, her eyes were not her normal amber color anymore, they now swirled like liquid gold. " Would you two stop dragging your feet and help me, they are almost here." They heard Sienna as she hurried in with a small basket of rolls. " Who?" Lucius asked, glaring at her. Before Sienna could say anything, the fireplace burst into flames. Thea gasped in surprise. Lucius was next to her in a second, his vampric side ready to protect what was his. Thea watched in awe and fear as the flames got bigger and brighter, swallowing up the fireplace and the surrounding wall. It created a door like opening in the wall. On the other side of the fire, she saw a darker and more rustic-looking room. Through the opening, a man with a black leather jacket and dark jeans came through. He had a black hoodie drawn over his head whose edges looked as if they had been burned off. "Sienna, what is happening here?" Lucius growled, not taking his eyes off the man, who just looked at Lucius with a bored look. Before Sienna could answer, a blue great Dane came darting out of the opening, barking excitedly as it ran over to where Sienna was calmly bringing in the dinner palter. " Oh you, sweet baby" Sienna quickly put the dish down and started to rub the huge beast's face. The dog was bigger than she was, whose front legs were propped on to Sienna's shoulder as it slobbered all over her face. " Who is a good girl? Yes, you are". The dog licked sienna happily and wagged her tail. " Brinley, Down. " Came a commanding female voice. A tiny woman who wore a similar outfit to her male friend, the great Dane, whimpered but obeyed, walking back toward her owner. Lucius hadn't let his guard down, he shifted protectively in front of Thea. His fangs elongated, his nails sharpened. "Put those fangs away boy, they won't do you much good against us." came another smooth male voice. An older male stepped into the room. He was wearing a black suit with a blood red shirt. The fire that had started so suddenly went out just as quickly as it had started. Lucius hissed, but didn't back down, instead became more defensive against the new arrival. Seeing Lucius's aggression, the male with the hoodie's fist burst into flames. Lucius went ridge under Thea's touch, his stance flattered. Thea looked from Lucius to the young male. "Sienna?!" What is this?" There was more surprise than aggregation in Lucius's voice now. Thea looked from the three newcomers to Sienna, who was setting the table like everything was normal, back to Lucius. "Oh, I am sorry, that's Alric, Thea's father and those two are Bailey and Jackson, his little goonies." She stated nonchalantly and continued setting the table. Thea started with her mouth open, she started at her "father". He was tall, with dirty blonde hair like hers which was graying at the temple. He smiled at her and emphasized his laugh lines. His eyes were a darker shade than hers, and that was where the similarities ended. She didn't realize she was holding her breath till a wave of dizziness hit her, making her sway in her spot. "Dinner is ready. Come and get it " Sienna said in a sing-song voice, to the males in the room. "You look like your mother," Alric said, taking a step towards her. Lucius shifted in front of him, making Alric stop and look at him with a threatening look. " I suggest you take a step back, if you know what is best for you." black bled into Alric's amber eyes. Sending everyone on alert. Bailey's and Jackson's hands balled in fire, Lucius's fangs elongated and his vampire side showing in his eyes. Thea felt heat rising in her body, tingling in her hands, Brinley whimpered and tried to hide behind Sienna . As if the air was being sucked out of their lungs, they all sagged in distress. After a second, when their lungs filled back with oxygen, they all looked at Sienna with accusation. "I said, dinner is ready." she said with a sweet smile.
