Chapter One Hundred and Twenty-Two
Andreena's eyes flicked between the two trails before she looked at me.
"You have a thirty second head start." Adam growled, pushing himself onto his knees.
"No, one minute head start. Thirty seconds isn't enough time for a good hunt." I growled, looking at him for a moment. "I want it to last."
Andreena looked at me for a long moment before glancing over at Adam. Her lips parted and she looked like she was going to say something, but her mouth snapped shut.
"Fifty seconds, sweet Andreena." I rasped, and she scrambled to stand. Bolting for the trail that would take her deeper into the trees.
