Chapter Eight

"Where are you going?" I asked Sven when I saw him first thing in the morning all dressed up. I was still frowning though that he had to kiss my forehead to stop.
"I have a meeting with the committee, it's important. " He said.
"Your Luna is supposed to be with you right? They might need my opinion."
Not minding what I said he just smiled.
"Just take some rest my Luna I'll be back home before dinner I love you." And then he kissed me goodbye leaving me with a sigh.
Great now he's having pack meetings without me.
After I gain myself back, I went downstairs to see Terresa eating some left over so bored. She was like spacing that I had to walk over and tap her back.
"Woah! Back off!" Her flexible self-moved so fast that I wanted to laugh so much but I couldn't.
Seriously? A pack warrior so scared? Hmm, that's a new thing.
"Relax it's me, Liana. Gee, you look like you're going to kill me anytime soon."
Dropping her self-defense, she then sighed.
"I'm sorry Luna. It's just that I don't know..." She explained and sighed.
"You're spacing earlier is there something wrong?" I asked her and saw the sadness in her eyes.
"Nahhh... I'd like to keep it to myself first." She said, and I nodded.
"I understand."
Thinking about something else I then remembered what I have to do from yesterday's scene. I remembered Clyde saving Elise which I'm thankful of and the rouge I brought here in the pack.
He was still staying in the cell as Sven told to. He wouldn't allow me yet to talk to him or judge him yet because he needs investigations. But for me I feel different, the young rouge doesn't mean any harm to me though. I think there are deeper things around him. And that is what I need to know
I don't know if Sven noticed what's happening around, but there's one thing I only know for sure. That rouges are slowly attacking and planning for a reason that everything is changing. And so, I would likely to take my part in this case.
"Hey, Terresa can you do me a favor?"
She looked at me like I'm a crazy person though and I just smiled.
"I need to go to the cell-like right now."
"But Lia... Alpha would kill me if I disobey orders." She scaredly said.
"Well Sven isn't here and that means it's fine."
"But--"
"No buts please so come on!"
Going to the cell I told the guards to not tell anything to Sven about me going in. And to consider my plead I gave them a reward of having fest at this very moment. I know I may be disobedient but I know I wouldn't regret to disobey.
"Liana you're crazy." Said Terresa handling me the keys.
"Just follow me okay," I told her and opened the cell bars, revealing a young teenage boy.
When he saw me, I could tell that he was shaking and he was pushed to glare at me.
"I'm not killing you, stop acting strong now," I said and smiled.
After saying those words his face suddenly changes.
"I'm Liana and you are?"
"I'm Zoren…" He answers.
"Let me guess you're thirteen?"
"No. I'm fourteen."
I looked at Terresa and she seemed to have pity with the boy inside the cell.
"I think you know much about me; would you mind if I ask questions?" I asked as he shook his head.
"Okay..can you tell me where's your family?"
"They're dead." He answered making me more interested.
"How about relatives?"
"They trade me with the rouges, so they can live."
"How rude." Said Terresa as I closed my eyes which were now turning to blue.
How dare those guys trade a young boy just to get them alive. How cruel of them to do that. I swear if I knew who does that thing, I would punish them.
"Who's your parents?" I asked.
"Deliah Rodgers, I also had a sister, but she took her with them."
And with that, I felt a state of guilt. Even though I didn't kill Deliah but I knew Sven did. And we also have reasons why we did that. On the other side, I didn't know Deliah had kids. She never talks about her life. All we knew she had a family left behind.
"Tell me why were you caught yesterday?"
"I was running away, and I saw a girl they're taking. I saved her but then your members caught me." He explained.
So, he knew Elise, and tell me why is it reminding me of the past? Oh, silly Liana.
"What are we going to do?" Asked Terresa.
"I think I need to talk to Sven about this," I said and looked at the boy once again.
He had a bruise.
"Listen, I will talk to my mate about your situation and I promise I'm taking you out of here. I'll see till tomorrow then." I told him and gave him food which I and Terresa prepared for.
"Luna, I know what your mate did to mom and to tell you I'm not angry. I know your reasons. And you're not as bad as everyone says. Thank you." Zoren says and smiled at him locking up his cell.
"I think I need to see someone tomorrow," I said to Terresa and left the cell.
After what I heard about. I quickly went into the office to find my book of records I kept. There I went for Deliah's information again and found out that Zoren was abused and he had an older sister Zyline. It was said that Zyline was taken by Deliah to train as new Alpha of the pack, but years have come and still the position haven't taken over.
"A new case to be settled I see," I whispered to myself and placed back the box I kept.
Hearing a car pull over, I quickly went out of the office to meet Sven outside. But suddenly my decisions disappoint me when I saw a girl kissed Sven on his lips.
What a nerve.
"Bye Alpha." Said the girl as Sven walked towards me.
He frowned at my angry face though as I raise my left eyebrow.
"Wow sounds like you had dinner already. Nice show." I said and turn my back at him.
How dare he let someone kiss him on his lips with me watching? What a nerve!
"Liana dinner is ready where are you going?" Terresa asked when I passed her by.
"I'm full thank you," I said and headed upstairs.
I can hear Sven's loud knock but whatever! I'm so angry with him.
"Liana opened this door now or I will rip this apart!" He angrily yelled making me pissed.
"Go and have a dinner with your b***h! Now shut up!" I yelled to making him hissed.
"Liana she is---"
"Leave me alone!" I yelled louder this time letting him know that I am totally mad.
"Fine!" He growled and after that everything went silent as the door crashes down, making me glare.
"You broke our door."
"f**k your mood swings Lia. I'm not having dinner alone." He said and a tear escapes my eyes as he kissed me passionately.
