Chapter Two:
1492 Words
Marriage.
I never thought I would be into this thing they called marriage eight years ago. After my parents died, I focused myself on taking revenge and train myself endlessly. But then here I am, standing in front of every werewolf, wearing my white see-through long sleeve gown.
When I started walking, slowly memories flashed back to me. I, being an assassin and Third In Command that apparently just graduated my senior year. Then found my mate who turned out to be my most hated person and to mention those circumstances we both faced together.
Everything was just so fast that I felt my life began to change.
And hopefully I like it to change for the better.
No assassination,
No rogues attack which may be hard to predict.
No problems between us, No more lies, and no more interruptions just a peaceful living.
I may have the most irritating, bad boy, snobbish, harsh mate werewolf, but I'm totally lucky. He can't seem to be the person who loves to show affection in public, but in a way, he's caring, protective, strong and smart. In short, for me, Sven is the best Alpha mate I could ever have.
Taking a deep breath, I saw mostly my old pack members and obviously my new one smiling and crying I guess? I can actually feel they're emotions through the pack connection and I was glad they were all happy for me to be their Luna.
I also saw Dominic, Jason, and Mellisa who was now getting a little bit dramatic that she was like my mom crying. I smiled at the thought, Oh Mellisa she's a lovely girl I've ever met. But still, I'm sad that Clyde couldn't make it here. I was actually waiting for him.
Finally, I reached Sven's place where he was standing. I couldn't help but felt my heart raised knowing how handsome he was today.
Well, he's handsome every day, Liana.
"You're late again." He whispered making me glare again.
Oh, Sven how much of a mood wrecker you are.
"Know what? If only I wasn't madly in love with you, I ran off the wedding just yesterday." I said still glaring.
"I'm glad that you're in love with me." He said and took my hand to proceed and take our vows.
Glad that he's in love with me huh? I can't help but blush.
Damn s**t! mate mark bond!
"Sven Troy Nicolas, will you take Liana Williams as your wife?"
Heavy breathing was caught up by me, while I still waited for his answer.
"I do" He answered as a sign of relief was written all over my face.
And now it was my turn.
"Do you Liana Williams take Sven Troy Nicolas as your husband?"
A pause of silence was given to me before I could open my mouth to speak and say yes, but knowing there are jerks around. I heard Dominic said something that made Sven's face turn blank.
"Lia! You know you can always have me!" Dominic yelled while I literally shook my head.
Cocky jerk Dominic Anderson as always.
"No thanks, Dominic," I answered and turned to Sven's blank face.
Awe my jealous mate.
Taking his hand I started my speech.
"I know I may be quite an annoying mate before, and even though you're so harsh to me it didn't change a thing. I loved you the moment we both met and yes, I would take Sven Troy Nicolas as my mate and husband forever."
Then the crowd of werewolves started clapping out for joy, while Sven did not wait for the judge's turn to ask both of us to kiss.
Taking my face to look at his, he pulled me to a deep loving kiss.
Pulling away from him, Richard Nicolas took the judge's place to bless us with the werewolf pack ceremony, with some rituals. He then pulled out the silver dagger and gave it to Sven.
"It's time for our Alpha and Luna to combine their affections, feelings, thoughts and strength. Sven, son you may now take this responsibility." Richard announced as I stayed nervous.
Sven took my hand and his to cut it, pouring with blood.
I don't really know but I have a feeling that this kind of thing gives me more excitement inside.
"Werewolves howl for our newlywed Alpha and Luna!"
Then after that, Sven placed his hand in mine as I felt my mind stir in different emotions. Love, lust, joy, happiness, and nervousness. I was dealing with it in a second before Sven kissed me back.
"I love you my Luna, " He said, and I smiled.
"Jealous mate." I teased him as he glares.
"Aww, I love you too Alpha " I replied while every werewolf except for Mellisa howled with joy.
Well, a new Luna has arrived.
After our ceremony, Sven and I headed to our reception and there we had all the fun. People were giving us blessings, compliments, and gifts that they say would be lucky for Sven and me.
Mellisa, Jason, and the others were sharing thoughts about us though, as well as his uncle Richard and his mate and so did Sven's sister which I assumed we had a very bad memory together but now we're pretty close. I was glad that Sven did not try to irritate me again, but not for our Beta who was actually now grinning like an i***t.
"I hate that beta of yours " I said to Sven while he takes a sip of his drink.
"I know, I can read your mind" He said, and I blushed again.
Oh yeah! I almost forgot he can read my mind!
"Let's take a dance" Sven offered, and I groaned.
"Not the dancing again."
"Come on " Then he gently pulled me out of my seat and danced.
I looked at his green eyes and like always, I felt those sparks and heat sends shivers through my veins.
"Sven, do you think everything we had in the past would stop haunting us?" I suddenly asked.
"Stop worrying too much Lia " He answered.
"Sven, I can't you know that I'm the Luna of our pack, I will always worry, " I said letting a sigh.
I can't risk everything again.
I wanted my life to be perfect with Sven. I need to protect my pack now that I'm a Luna.
"I'm your husband and Alpha Lia, it's my duty, not yours," He said caressing my face and kiss me again.
I noticed Sven like to kiss me much today.
"Someone wants to see you" He whispered.
Searching the crowd.
I saw him.
I saw my best friend standing right in the dim light smiling. I then turned to Sven asking for permission and hopefully, he nodded, letting me go.
"Be quick" He ordered, and I smiled.
"I will "
Walking towards Clyde without the others noticing. I couldn't hide my happiness, he actually made it!
"Clyde!" I called him while he quickly took me for a quick and tight embrace.
"I missed you!" I said smiling.
"You're married now, " He said and sighed.
"Yeah, I am."
"I guess there's no chance for me eh?" He joked, and I glared playfully.
"Nope, my mate got me hard head over heels, " I said chuckling.
I know I saw a hint of sadness on his face and I couldn't help but felt bad. I know he was in love with me and I can't return it back to him. He was only a brother to me and I couldn't change it all.
"Ayy...Sven's pretty lucky, wasn't he?"
"Clyde, I know you would find her soon and if you need my help. I'm always here " I said and gave him back my embrace.
"I will miss you, my princess."
"I'll miss you too teddy bear "
Taking my hand, he gave again a bracelet that he actually made. I couldn't help but shed a tear. He's always the sweet one.
"Remember, if anything goes wrong call me. I'll always be at your side."
"Clyde..."
"I can't stay long princess, they will find me in a minute. I'll visit you sometime." He said.
"I'll help you find her Clyde I promise."
"Princess...?"
"Yes?"
"Don't tell them yet I'm alive." He said, and I nodded.
"I will."
"Be safe I love you " And after that, he shifted, and he's gone.
"I love you huh?" I turn around to see Sven leaning against a tree with his facial expression turning blank.
"It was a best friend thing, Sven." I said rolling my eyes.
He then walked towards my place and took my hand taking a look on Clyde's bracelet.
"Come on, I want your night with me, not with anybody, " He said and carried me.
"Sven!" I squirmed.
"Shut up."
Gee. I hate how his mind instantly run now. I can't let an Alpha get angry.
