“STOP!!!"

”That was the word everyone in the class heard as they turn around to see who it was. My jaw drops as I saw the 6.5ft tall athletic figure heading right towards us. “I’m I still day dreaming, this ain’t no princess fairy tale. Why the hell is Mac Donald walking right towards me?”

As I thought I was the only one just hallucinating, Carol, Cherry and Sandy Looks like time as frozen for them ‘cause I am very sure at that very moment these three girls are not breathing. He came towards us and everything happen so fast.it was as if I was in a Korean movie setting. Mac immediately pulls me out from the midst of the lioness and also out of the class. My hand feels numb as he pulls me out to the school garden.

The truth is that it not like I really want to be saved from the claws of those girls but, This situation just seem like what my inner self has been wanting and then in that process I remembered again why is He was keeping Tabs on. “Such an Asshole”. I subconsciously let out what was going through in my head. “What did you say?” Mac asked letting go of my hand turning around to look at my face looking all confuse. I said you are such an Asshole.

“Why, what did I do wrong, I just save you from Assholes does that make me one?”

I know what I am about to say might lead to a disaster but my ego just kept in the way. “Why are you here Mac?” Looking at my face all confused he said: “What did you mean Alessia?”

”Why are you doing this? All this. First dropping me off to school and then now pretending to be my savior. Is it just to keep watched on me so as not to tell the whole school that you and Anita broke up?”

“Alessia….. What are you talking about….? I have no such intentions”

.“Then tell me why you doing all this. Tell me why you will go…..”

“IT BECAUSE YOU ARE A FRIEND AND I CARE ABOUT YOU!!!” He interrupted.

At this point, the numbness I was feeling earlier was nothing compared to way I am feeling right now. I know this isn’t a confession but why does my heart feel this.

“You care about me?”

“Yes of course. Isn’t that what friends does.”

“I never knew yow consider me as a friend”

"You are friend Alessia since that very that and forget about keep tabs on you. Me meeting you at the bus station this morning was a total coincidence. And if you didn’t consider me as a friend I would like you to start doing so now."

Those words move me and I was completely blown away at that very moment. At that point in time I thought to myself: “What do I have to lose?”

After that very day mac and I began to hang out little by little for about a week before I realized what I am actually into.

ANITA!!!

I totally forget about her. I have heard a lot about her. Apart from the fact that she is one of the top students in class A. she is one sneaky b***h doesn’t joke around wither man but since I heard they broke up I guess I don’t have an ish with her.

It turn out that Anita broke up with Mac ‘cause she thought she could not trust the guy anymore due to the fact that that she saw Angel cheering for Mac specifically on the last football match. Angel who happens to be Mac’s childhood friend but it seems she has started developing feelings for the guy for the last few weeks. So Anita seeing Angel cheer for Mac makes her really jealous and she went to confront Mac about her but mac denied Blatantly leading to a serious Arguments which made go their separate ways which I don’t think actually mean a break up. But a lovers quarrel. This means they can get back together any time soon but I decided to neglect that fact.

Meanwhile what I don’t know is for the past three weeks that Mac and I had been Hanging out, Anita has been keeping an eyes on me watching my every move trying to figure out what was really going on between I and Mac.

I should have known that this "BLOODY TWIST" is definitely going to happen but I just have to believe that Anita is fully over Mac.It just a week to our Prom and the whole a School is getting ready I have been waiting forever for someone to ask me out on a date if it was Tyler from my class who is a nerd, not very handsome facially and a grade wise but at least he was in the same league as mine. Or Erik or Treasure. Just an average guy who is in my league. But none of them did. I even tried Asking Daniel but he told me he’d already asked Catherine. Now it seems like the whole school has a date or two to the Prom meanwhile I have…..you know….Myself.

As Mac and I walking home from school that day something I never expected happen, something I didn’t even have the feeling could happen did happen. As at the Back way alley of our street I asked a question out of curiosity.

“So who is your date to the Prom night?”

“Well….” he said robbing his palm on his hair. “ I don’t have a Prom date yet.

”Oh really? … I said shocked. “Well I also do not have a prom date also. It seems I won’t be coming to the prom after all.”

“Wait why not?”

“Cause everyone seems to be taken for the prom. And I don’t seem to be seeing anyone asking me out to the prom. I even asked Daniel.. Can you believe it? Even Daniel has a date to the prom except me”

.Looking surprise:” let’s be mindful on how we use the word except. Have you forgotten I just told you that I also do not have a prom date?”

“Oh that makes the both of us”And all of a sudden there was this awkward silence between the both of us.

In that minute there was this thought that came across my mind. “What if he asked me out to the prom?”

Then there came the breaker of silence. He brought the most marvelous question a guy could ever ask me.

“WOULD YOU GO TO THE PROM WITH ME?”
