INTERVENTION
Matthew accelerated all the way to the location but stopped by a kerb when his phone buzzed beside him. He grabbed it and shuddered at the sound of Marco’s voice.
“Where the hell are you? I told you to stay put.”
“I have an address, and I’m pretty sure Liz and Mariana are there.”
“Well, wherever you’re going, you need to turn back and come to the station. We have a lead.”
“What lead?” Matthew asked.
“We cut a deal with this man in custody who’s been working with Domenic. He told us he occasionally uses this abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of Melbourne.
