HATED MATE PART 7
Joleah could barely sleep thinking about what the hell she could do to escape this curse she'd been saddled with. She felt like she was standing at a crossroads and either way she chose would pull her into eternal hellfire & damnation.
The only place she could think of escaping to was the cabin located a couple towns away where she had once lived with her parents before they had been so maliciously ripped away from her by the very same kind of beasts she had been in the company of just hours ago.
She hadn't been back there in years since it was the very place where her world fell into complete & utter darkness in a matter of minutes and she didn't know if she could handle going back there even now.
The sounds of her mother and fathers yells and screams of pain...the loud snarling, growling snapping jaws of those enormous wolves tearing into the two people she loved most in the world while she balled up hiding in the floorboard of the car that had stalled on the road.
Their death had haunted her for years and still snuck into her dreams now after so many years had passed.
Joleah sat up on the edge of the bed sobbing so hard her body shuddered. She stumbled to the bathroom splashing cool water on her face then grabbed a prescription bottle.
Her hands trembled badly as she dumped out a little yellow pill and threw it inside her mouth quickly, cupping some water in her hand to swallow it down with. Her entire body quaked at the mere thought of going back to the place she knew she could never go.
She had held onto the place all this time, unable to sell it, since it still held all the memories of her mom & dad.
She hoped that one day she'd be able to return....but she always seemed to have a breakdown every time she even considered trying.
After an hour the pill started to kick in, calming her scattered nerves and she was able to go back to bed drifting off into a peaceful sleep within minutes.

Joleah opened her crusted eyes taking in the gloomy day outside the window. Another rainy day to match her dreary mood. She sighed, slowly sitting up wiping the sleep from her specks.
She swung her legs around slipping her feet inside the fuzzy slippers by her bed and made her way to the kitchen for her morning brew.
Once she'd prepared herself a hot cup of coffee she flopped down on the sofa thinking back on the events that had unfolded last night, and groaning when she remembered that filthy lycans instructions to be ready at 7 sharp for that goddamn date that she so desperately wanted to run from.
The last thing she felt like doing was going anywhere with that f*****g mongrel sonofabitch! She didn't know how many times she would have to yell in his face that she wanted absolutely nothing to do with him. It was like he would not take no for an answer.....and if that was the case, she'd just have to prove to him how uninterested she was with his kind.
The only reason he had been capable of persuading her last night was because she was drunk and weak.
But now....now she was level headed and she would show that pompous piece of animal s**t that she wasn't the easy little homosapien he thought her to be.
Surely this prick realized that humans and lycans should not be paired. She wasn't even sure that the two different species could procreate, the thoughts of it made her physically ill.
To her it would be like a dog trying to impregnate a human female. It was sick and just morally disgusting and wrong! Her nose scrunched up in repulsion.
Joleah hated being near him because of those fake emotions that were forced onto her. But tonight she would make certain that she take her medication before she goes on this God forsaken date and hope that they would calm her enough to deal with the emotions he would undoubtedly try to push onto her.
By God she was human! And it was a fact that humans did not feel the bond as strong as those deplorable mutts did. She screeched out hitting the couch cushions repeatedly.
If there was one thing she hated as much as those filthy, lying, barbarians...it was being forced to do something she did not wanna do.....put the two together and it spelled disaster in big highlighted capital letters.
He probably thought she'd dress in some sexy little number like she had last night. Ohhh hell naw! She'd be damned to hell before she'd dress to impress that fucker.
She had the perfect outfit. It was the dress she had worn to the last funeral she had attended with Nate for one of his coworkers that had been killed in a car accident.
Yes....the long black dress that covered every part of her all the way from her neck to her ankles would be just the thing for this date.
To call it unflattering would be a huge understatement. With it came a jacket to further conceal the body. She giggled sipping on her coffee imagining the look on his smug face when he got a load of her in that get up.

Joleah had on her long funeral dress...no makeup, and her hair in a tight bun atop her head. She stood looking in the mirror thinking she looked like a virgin school marm. She covered her mouth with both hands laughing at her reflection. She found her black flats slipping them on over the thick black tights she wore underneath the dress.
"Ahhh yes, sooo comfortable. I'll be able to eat like a hog tonight." She giggled, grabbing her huge black purse and slinging it over her shoulder walking outta her bedroom.
15 minutes later She heard the buzzer and jumped up walking to her door opening it up with a smug grin on her lips.
Caspin turned around, his eyes widening at the way she was dressed. He didn't know what to say as he stood slack mouthed. She looked like a female version of the grim reaper and he couldn't help himself but to chuckle at her attempt to be as unappealing as possible, yet as hard as she had tried she was still beautiful in the long frumpy turtleneck dress. A huge silver cross hung around her neck as though she were trying to stave off evil spirits....however he knew it was to keep him off. She knew silver burned lycans skin.
"You.....you look warm & cozy." Caspin smiled wide. His eyes traveled up and down her fully covered figure. "You ready my lady?" He snickered a bit.
"Mhm....what damn choice do I have? I'm starving! Hope you've got a thick wallet because I can eat like a fuckin horse." She spoke up brushing past him and closing the apartment door loudly before he could say a word. "Come on, let's get this s**t over with!" She called out stomping away from him as he took a deep breath following her.
Joleah stood far away from him with a snarl on her face as he stared at her inside the elevator.
"What the f**k are you looking at!? It's rude to stare!" She hissed.
"Can't help it my sweet. You are absolutely gorgeous.....no matter what you wear." He bit his lip.
Joleah squinted her eyes angrily at him. "Just shut your damn snout...hound! I do not have any interest in your kind. And oh... you do know that I f*****g hate lycans! You and I are not meant to be and I don't know how or why I'm being punished with this, but one way or another I will find a way to put an end to this curse that's been forced upon me! I promise you that!" She sneered leaning against the elevator wall.
"Good luck sweetheart. This is destiny, and eventually you will give in to it. You won't be capable of denying it." He stalked closer to her with a wide grin on his plush lips.
"Back the f**k off!....or I swear to your goddess I'll cause one hell of a scene. You wouldn't want a silver burn on that pretty face of yours now would you?" She held the silver cross out in front of her to keep him at arm's length, a deep scowl on her face.
"Ahhh...you really think I'm pretty?" He replied, holding his hands up in surrender as he chuckled at her antics.
"Ju...just shut the hell up!" She crossed her arms stubbornly, rolling her eyes.
The elevator doors opened as she shot out walking fast to get away from him while he followed watching that round ass of hers jiggle underneath the long dress....she certainly couldn't hide that nice booty of hers nor those boobs that bounced with every step.
He snickered watching her try to be stoic, with that grimace on her lovely face. Did she realize that even in a dress like that, with no makeup she was even more appealing to him. She could have worn a burlap sack and she'd still be stunning.
She attempted to hastily open the car door, setting off the loud alarm. Her face burned bright red in embarrassment as passersby stared at her.
Caspin let her sweat for a moment before pushing his key fob to end her torture.
"No big rush milady." He stepped up close reaching his hand out to open the door for her.
"You damn prick!" She spit out as she flopped her body down into the seat grabbing the door from him and slamming it.
"Easy there girl. This car is new." He chuckled while walking around to get in.
The ride to the restaurant was silent. Joleah stared out the window watching the buildings zip by. God this was miserable....just knowing she was sitting inches away from something that could transform into a giant rabid dog and rip innocent humans apart made her cringe.
The car came to a stop and she heard his door open. She laid her head back on the seat closing her eyes and whispering a prayer that she'd make it through this evening without this fucker trying to touch her.
Her door opened and his hand reached out to help her outta the vehicle. She ignored it pushing him outta the way moving past him hurriedly.
"I don't need your f*****g assistance. And don't even try to hold my hand or lock arms with me. I only came with you because you are a damn animal that could hurt me or people I care about. We eat...you take me home ...the end!"
"Oh no my dear...this is only the beginning. You won't be slipping away from me so easily, Joly. You may as well get used to me being around. You will do as I tell you and shut that smart mouth of yours before things get ugly." He threatened.
"Ahh yes....and there it is. The only way you can keep me in line is to threaten. I'd expect nothing less of a depraved animal." She laughed morosely.
"You want an animal....then that's what I'll give you little lady." He grabbed her arm pulling her alongside him into the restaurant as she cursed under her breath the entire way.
>>>>>>
Joleah crammed her mouth full of the steak and potato, then slurped down the water as if she had no manners at all.
The waitress walked up asking if they needed anything else and expected them to decline any more food after all that joleah had already ordered.
"Mhmm...yuus pwease!" She replied with her mouth jammed full of bread sticks. "Daasurt!" She clumsily reached across the table grabbing Caspin's ice water and turned it up gulping it down as it dripped down her chin then wiping it on her sleeve and burping.
"Ahhh exscuuse meee! Not bad manners, just damn good food!" Joleah guffawed slapping the table.
The waitress's eyes widened at her behavior. Caspian just chuckled to himself at her act. He was having fun watching her try to be rebellious.
"I want the red velvet cake....uhhmm, the cherry cheesecake to mix with it....aaaand vanilla bean ice cream. A larrrge bowl please....with chocolate syrup and nuts. Ohh and caramel on it too pleeease." Joleah rubbed her hands together licking her lips thoroughly which caused Caspian to twitch in his pants a bit, a low growl rumbling through his chest
"If food excites you this much, how about I bring you back to my place and I'll feed you whatever your heart desires.....plus a whole lot more. Wanna try that?" He whispered the last part raising his brows, smirking.
"No thanks. But I'm sure that waitress would absolutely looove to lick on your lipstick shaped doggy weiner." She giggled.
"Watch that mouth girl." Caspian warned, his eyes darkening.
The waitress returned with a tray full of all the desserts sitting them on the table while she swapped them out with the empty plates.
Caspian stared up at the attractive waitress smiling. "Hello.....Melody." He read her name tag. She smiled back, biting her lip as Joleah began to tear into the cakes and ice cream.
"Mmm! Ohh my goddd! This is soooo goooood! Melody...I think my friend here likes you. But remember....he's an unpredictable lycan that could tear out your throat with one chomp if he chooses to." Joleah spoke while stuffing her face.
"I can handle lycans, since I'm one myself." The waitress smiled wide, her eyes never leaving Caspian's.
Joleah swallowed her food quickly. "Ahhh...is that so?! Well then. I'll tell you what Melody. This is Caspian Octavius Steel...Alpha of the Midnight Black Warrior pack. He's a real catch and needs a mate. He says I'm his mate, but I do believe there's been an egregious mistake with that. I'm human and as you know a high ranking Alpha such as this fine specimen of doggy/man in front of me should not be paired with a lowly homosapien like myself. But you.....you would be a much better fit....yes?" Joleah finished, taking another small bite of the cake.
Caspian sat calmly, his eyes darkening once again at this little smartass she devil sitting in front of him with that smug look on her face. He had never wanted to tear a female's ass apart as much as he did hers at this very moment. She would be sorry for pulling this little scene. He had attempted to make her jealous, but she had flipped it on him and he was none too happy with that s**t.
"Oh.....uhmm. N...nooo. I....I could never come between destined mates, especially one of an alpha. I just won't do th...that." The waitress lay down the check for the meal and asked if they needed anything else...of which Caspian just shook his head. The waitress could see the deadly look on the young alphas face and the anger he radiated as she scurried away quickly.
"Time to go woman." He seethed, gritting his teeth.
"B...but I'm not done!" She whined, shoving another huge bite of cake inside her mouth. Here, taste this...it's sooo good." She tried to hold a fork full of cake up to his lips." Caspian grabbed her wrist making her drop the utensil.
"I said it's time to go." He stood, jerking her up from the table and leading her outta the restaurant swiftly.
