Chapter 18 Riding the bicycle fast became Katrina’s second nature. Even sitting perched on the hard crossbar didn’t hurt that much anymore. When the sun shone down on them and there was nobody else in sight, she sometimes started to sing a song. Once in a while Richard would join her, but usually he’d just hum or whistle the melody.
