10. Spending time

Rahul's POV

I woke up early in the morning and went to Kaya's house to pick her up. I met her after a month and now I want to spend some precious time with her. I would also encourage her to recover soon.

I got ready and went to her house. And guess what? She was still sleeping. Aunty.. I mean mom, now I can call her mom because I am going to marry her soon. Mom was going upstairs to wake her up, but I said that I will go, and she agreed.

I went towards her room. She was sleeping peacefully like a cute baby. Looks like someone is dreaming about her future husband. I smirked. Without making any noise, I went towards her bed and sat beside her. I caressed her hair. I want to do this every morning now. She was looking even more cute now. This girl will take away my breath someday.

I bent down and whispered something "Good morning, wifey. Wake up honey."

She suddenly got up and looked towards me. She was looking shocked. Maybe, after hearing the word: wifey and honey.

"What did you just said?" She asked me.

"I called you wifey and honey!" I said confidently.

"But we are not married yet!"

"Once you will recover, we will marry. I can't wait for a long time now, I decided that I would marry you, that means I will marry you. Only you."

"Rahul!" She called me.

"Yes honey?"

"I love you. I really love you. Thanks for being by my side."

"No need to thank me, I promise I will be by your side always." I said, and gave her a forehead kiss.

"Let's go downstairs now, mom will be waiting." I said, she hummed.

I went down, so that she could get ready. I was waiting downstairs and she came. She was looking extremely beautiful. I would be taking her to the same park, where we used to go earlier. We won't be able to go inside the cafe, due to her health.

We went out of the house. Her mom asked me to take care of her, while I asked her to rest assured.

We sat in the car.

"You are looking beautiful, wifey" I said while she was wearing seatbelt. She suddenly, turned towards me.

"You are also looking handsome, hubby." She said, my heart skipped a bit.

"Oh god!! First time you gave me a complement. Thanks dear wifey!" I said.

"Mention not hubby let's go! Where are we going?"

"It's a surprise, darling. You have to wait for it." I said, she nodded.

We all went inside the park.

We were walking with hand-in-hand. After walking for a few distance, we sat in a bench.

"Kaya?" I called her and she looked in my direction.

"Yes?" She asked me to speak further.

"Do you remember this place?"

"Ofcourse, it is the first place where we met Shanvi. Right?"

"Yeah!"

We both were engrossed in the view.

"Kaya, you know what? You are really special to me. I can't even spend an hour without you. I really love you." I said breaking the silence.

"You don't need to say "I love you."" She said.

"But why?"

"Because, it is clearly seen in your eyes." She said. I then hugged her tightly.

"Rahul, my chest!"

"Oh! I am really sorry." I said and left her.

"Shall we go home now?" She asked me.

"Sure, let's go!" I said, we both were returning back home.

We were in the car, going towards her house. Suddenly, she started screaming.

"Rahul! Aah! My chest! Rahul" she was screaming.

"What happened Kayu?"

"Call me Panda!"

What? In this case she is thinking about a joke.

"Okay Panda, tell me what happened?"

"It's paining a lot! Aah!" She screamed.

"Okay, let's go to the hospital!" I said and made my way to the hospital.

She was sitting inside the ICU. Mom dad and her parents also came by now.

We all were too scared. Suddenly, the doctor came.

"What happened doctor?" Her mom asked.

"I am sorry to say but, she have only 2 days to live." The doctor said.

I was not able to react to it. How can this ever happen?

"Can we meet her?" My dad asked.

"Yes you can but please take care of her." The doctor said, we all nodded and went inside.

She was now concious. Her parents were talking with her. She knew that she have only 2 days to live.

Everybody went out side. I got a chance to talk to her.

"Kaya, how are you?" I asked and started crying.

"Rahul don't cry I m a fighter I promise that I will stay happy . Nd don't cry after I leave just move on , you will find another girl like me." She said caressing my cheeks.

"Okay, I will find another girl but what about your parents how will they find another princess like you??" I asked.

"I don't know nd I seriously don't want to leave anyone I want to live my life fully I want to be with you , I want to fulfill my dreams, I want to make my parents feel proud of me , nd what about those?? How will I pursue my dream now . You know what, sometimes our dreams get killed , we don't want to but however it get killed nd it is the saddest moment of our life. I also had many dreams but today they all got killed . Nd I want to spend my rest of the life with you. Nd plz don't end up your life because of me you will find a better one than me." This time she was crying.

I got angry by her last sentence.

"Again that silly answers , how many times will I tell you that I will never get anyone better than you. You are my only sunshine." And we both started crying in each other's arms and slept into deep slumber.

I wanted all my nights to be like this.
