Antonietta was sitting in a comfortable armchair, immersed in her book when Ângelo approached her.
"Mrs. Amorielle, Giuseppe Denaro is here," Ângelo informed, serious.
Antonietta looked up from her book, with a surprised and puzzled expression.
"Giuseppe?" Antonietta repeated, surprised. "What is he doing here?"
"He said he came by invitation," Ângelo replied.
Antonietta got up from the armchair and followed Ângelo towards the hallway. She remained alert, concerned about Giuseppe's presence. She reached the hallway and found Giuseppe standing by the door, wearing a serious expression until he saw Antonietta and smiled.
"Antonietta, how are you?" Giuseppe greeted.
Antonietta responded coldly, keeping a cautious distance.
