In a dusty room, barely lit by a low-voltage light bulb burning overhead, sat a rather overweight man, tied to a chair, his eyes covered with black tape. From the neck down, the man was covered with a black sheet. The man had been here for days but had eaten nothing but two pieces of dry bread a day. Now he could smell the wonderful odours of meat. Perhaps because he had been hungry for days, this was the most appetising smell of food he had ever smelled. The man, whose face was covered in blood, looked around with his eyes opened from the swelling, it was not difficult for his eyes to get used to the dim light. When he opened his eyes, he realised that there was another person in the room. “Please let me go Sipsi, I don’t know anything.” The words came out of her mouth as a whisper. Sipsi spoke without breaking her silence while popping balloons on the mobile phone game in her hand, “That’s not for me to decide.” Just then the door opened. A man in an expensive suit with a fit physique, accompanied by two bodyguards, entered. The most distinctive feature of the man was the mask on his face. He was wearing a red mask with sharp teeth and a dagger through the centre. When Sipsi saw him, he bowed down to waist level and had a deep expression of respect on his face. “Your Highness Sultan Tajcal, please forgive me... I will work for the rest of my life to compensate you for your lost money and the damage I have caused.” His voice sounded clearer now. Teccal took the file in his hand from the man standing next to him. “Ertan Şen, aren’t you responsible for my casinos in Cyprus?” There was a shaking authority in his voice. “Yes, sir, I am.” “Four per cent of your profits have disappeared in the last two years and you can’t explain it, right?” “I don’t know what happened. But I didn’t steal it, sire!” “But you can’t find who stole it?” When Teccal made a head movement, Sipsi hit Ertan’s face with the whip in her hand. She was enjoying herself more and more as she did it repeatedly and mercilessly. The man began to scream, agonised screams. He turned his eyes to Tajcal as if begging for mercy. “Your Holiness...” was all he could say. “From now on he will be beaten mercilessly every day until he can no longer feel pain, and he will not die until that day comes!” As soon as Tajjal had said these words, he turned and left, and as he did so, a look of surrender and peace came over the faces of those in the room.
