I was beyond shocked when I heard her name, I was too flabbergasted to even take her outstretched hand. Almost immediately, she called my attention back.
“Hi, do you mind introducing yourself as well?” She asked, waving her hand at my face.
I managed to give a fake smile and I took her outstretched hand in a warm handshake.
“Your hand is so soft and cute. I would also have fallen in love with you if I was a guy,” she complimented. I don't know whether she was deliberately hinting at something or she was just genuinely complimenting me.
“Thank you, my name is Ava,” I replied, wanting to keep the conversation very Short but It seemed like she already knew me and was just here to keep me in the conversation.
