Ava's pov.
Alessandro was the one that drove us to the park where I was meeting with Jessica. I alighted with Emily and Jessica wasn't hard to spot in her tomboy shirt and baggy trousers.
“Hey,” Jessica greeted and rushed to me, almost jumping on me.
I moved back so that she wouldn't end up bumping into me, then I said, “you don't want to injure me, do you?”
She quickly grasped what I was hinting at, then she put the Popsicle she was biting on her other hand and rubbed the cold palm on my stomach.
“How have you been feeling recently? Hope it hasn't been draining?”She asked and took my hand, dragging me to sit on a chair.
