Ava's pov
“Do you know Alessia?” I dropped the bombshell. I have been trying to take my mind off what Dr Navia said but everything was too real and connected for me to ignore… more so, she also mentioned Jessica's name without actually meeting her in person.
Jessica deliberately feigned ignorance and answered, “is she your friend? Do you want me to search for her?”
Anger riled up in my chest and I responded in a tensed voice, “I am in no mood for jokes Jessy, who is Alessia to coran?”
She went silent over the phone for some time and I could hear her surroundings becoming more silent, it seemed like she was… changing location.
