Chapter 21 Eli remained in his room until late in the evening, watching bad TV shows and generally sulking. He kept veering between hurt, angry, and guilty. He had exploded so quickly he’d never given Rob the chance to give his side of the story, and Rob had denied it, but then…but then, he had a history—a long one—and of course he’d deny it in front of the cops, he wasn’t stupid. In truth, Eli knew he’d jumped the gun there. He knew Rob would be angry about it.
