Chapter 21: Calling Judd
Judd Maxx didn’t call that night or the next morning. Of course, Avery tried to make contact with him, but failed on every attempt. Text messages and voicemails were ignored. Two emails became lost in cyber space, unanswered. And when he called up The Maxx Inn and spoke with Jane Forrest, whom he had never met, a message for Judd was politely taken, but never responded to.
