14 ~Mia~ I struggled to keep stride with Ayden as we rushed through the main doors of the condo. He broke the grasp he had on my hand then slid into the passenger side of the golf cart. I did the same as I sat behind the wheel and then sped toward Chris’s office. Ayden didn’t say anything nor did he look at me. He gripped the seat with one hand and the roof support-bar with the other. His jaw set while he stared ahead. I wasn’t sure what thoughts were rolling through his mind. Was he nervous? Frustrated?
