Chapter 7 BEV GETS RIGHT IN THERE with the repairs. She wants to know how everything works so she can fix it when it breaks down. Cate’s been avoiding the workers. She’s sure they’re great guys when you get to know them, but she isn’t keen on getting to know them. And she realizes how bad that sounds, which is why she doesn’t say it out loud, not even to Bev.
