When I got back home, I arranged my English books back on my shelf looking at the titles. One day I want to read them, but the thought of that seems so impossible right now. My mum came home soon after, with bags of clothes in her hand. “I thought we didn't have any money”, I ask her, and she looks at me sheepishly. “Murray took me out shopping”, she squeals, and I grimace at the mention of my principal's name. “He’s really trying hard”, I chime with a sarcastic undertone and she frowns “You just need to give him a chance”.
